I wouldn't have caught it. others wouldn't and haven't but GH is amazing at finding scum early, his record is pretty good as far as I remember. Ask him when he is around, he'll let us know how many times it's happened. Even if he has been right and no one has voted with him.

Picker smooths her hair back, she knows it looks good because her breasts rise and fall and everyone looks, even Sorry and she is one hard bitch to please. Her pile of coins is now 5 piles and she just cannot get enough win. Hedge looks down trodden even for Hedge. He just does not have the know-hedge that Picker has. Most of the other marines have left and Fiddler's stomach is growling. He wants food and may have to give in to temptation soon enough. Whiskeyjack, Dujek, and Paran walks into the bar, they take a look around and join the marines at the table. They place a bet themselves and Fid just has to rolls his eyes and keep on playing. In walks Quick Ben and Kalam, they got wind of a card game going off in the new quarter and wanted a piece of it too. They enter the room and slide in next to Hedge. Hedge whispers to his left that the games rigged and gets a clout on the ear for his troubles. Fiddler finishes his speech and raises his hands. He throws a card towards Picker and reverse one back to Dujek, he then flips one to Hedge and slides one across the table to Kalam. Picker goes to pick hers up but then hedge slaps his hand down on top of her card, he asks Fiddler if he can have hers and she have his. Fiddler cracks out a smile and nods. They all turn their cards over. Dujek has Orb a new player in the game but little good for him, Kalam flips his card over and finds Toblakai which is just about the worst card in the deck. Hedge flips his and cracks the biggest smile he has seen that day Sceptre, one of the best cards out there, he leans over to grab the coins but then realises picker has to flip her card. She does. She gasps. High House Shadow and in the seat, laughing maniacally, is Shadowthrone. No one can beat her, she throws her arms into the air to celebrate but instead of laughing out loud she slumps forward in her chair, 3 daggers buried deep into her chest. Maybe it just wasn't her day.

Then turns and walks over to the three men Whiskeyjack, Dujek and Kalam are holding. She thrusts two fingers into the first man's eye. Pulls out, wipes them across his screaming mouth, caresses his cheek down to his neck and rips out his trachea. He flops to the floor. She then turns to the next man. One quick stab in his eye and a yank of his trachea and he flops too. The third man has shit his pants. He is praying to Hood that it be quick. That death doesn't hurt. Quick had seen enough he opened a warren beneath the man's feet and dropped him into a hole. Death will not be quick for this man. No he can stay alive for a little while yet, until the air runs out that is. Sorry is angry, she wanted to make this one last.

Whiskeyjack turns and heads into the latrine. He is struck with grief. He wants to be sick but knows that he won't be. He pulls down his pants and sits down. As he looks up he sees Sorry standing there.

There are so many roles you could use for each of these players. Speculation is great fun, but with all the characters involved you could literally play the same game with different characters having different abilities a few times.

I think by killing you they have either painted a target on their back or cleared themselves for a while because it looks like scum are pointing towards Monok.

When day one has two main contenders for a lynch and one of those contenders dies that only leaves one. Then the lynch swung away from either contender to a new target. That has to be suspicious.

It points a big red arrow straight at Monok, but HO's ability to avoid a lynch is great. He pops his head out of the shell and makes a few comments here and there, when he gets pressured or people start voting him, he ducks his head back into his shell until the danger has passed. It worked brilliantly for him day one. I think they will only get to lynch him if they do a find on him which is entirely possible.

That being said, the arrow remains, can he shake that off?

If so they might have other winning conditions. I might drop that on the thread at some point but I hate those kinds of bullshit speculation. Still it can be helpful for clouding the waters. I wouldn't expect Rake or the Andii to be in the game from the OP. Fiddler and Hedge could be some type of suicide vigs.

I'm assuming you have the same finder/guard ability as me? From the wording in my role PM, I get the feeling we're not the only players with power-swapping abilities. Sounds like at least one - probably more - alts can have a kill as their 'active' power, meaning sometimes they might have something else. Or I'm just reading it wrong.

As for lover codes, the problem with them is that they can easily be accused of being a killer pair attempting to fake being town lovers. Plus it's not usually a good idea to reveal your partner if you've been outed. Still, we can do them anyway, in case some other permutation comes up down the line. I'll probably do some version of first letter of word to spell your name out either forwards or backwards.

Fiddler here and yeah to shared Guard/Kill and speculations about other paired abilities - wording certainly implies that. We didn't get a TMDI did we or faction or what, not read OP yet though.

It's Messremb here btw, in low poster mode for today and most of tomorrow. I'm going to lay low whilst away. Reckon maybe not Guard tonight, if we don't attract flak we can get some info on an alt, what do you think? Also, target we chose will determine who we can investigate and who not - a positive kill find doesn't mean Guard next night as kill may have switched to other paired alt. Going to read thread shortly then do a subsistence post tonight or tomorrow morning

Interesting that it is Fiddler lover with Tattersail rather than Ganoes as books and OP - safety for us there as killers may think that the loss of Ganoes takes out the lover pairing. We need to code posts so can verify lover pairing to thread later if revealing, any ideas? 24 hours till I'm at a computer so mine will need to be then - phone sucks mighty balls.
