I was willing to sacrifice the double ancient hex to protect my core systems. If I just leave a clear path to my homeworld then all of my systems would be ripe for the taking. Morgoth still has another cruiser he can use to cause me issues so I'm not out of the woods just yet but with him sending one of his cruiser SE then there is definitely less pressure to plug the route to my homeworld.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

This is why playing in person is better. Especially if you're hosting! Then you can threaten to withhold pie from non-cooperative pseudo-allies

@D'rek, if Morgoth keeps this as his provisional and has decided against a coalition against Twelve then we will have to pull out too. We will lose the cruiser but be in a better position next round with more materials. I am baffled as to why Twelve wants to protects the one ancient as opposed to your double ancients. Morgoth has chickened out, it looks like. Leaving Twelve in a strong position. You were right, we needed to do it this round but obviously Morgoth thinks he can win on his own without trimming down Twelve.
No, I think that if twelve built a single starbase in his hex I would be out of the game. I think that without neutron bombs and/or improved hull there's nothing serious I can do. I won't in all likelhood be able to take even the hex of his I was to attack. I agree that twelve is the main threat, but I have no way of changing that this turn. Thus the ancient hex.

You have phase shield and 3 cruisers.
If you were to attack him as well as I then we will both be able to do starbase and ancients. You more so than I. But if you do not attack him, he can concentrate on wiping me out. He only has a limited number of moves. One shield takes away his computers and screws him over.

One upgrade, source over hull and phase shield over electron other hull.
yes they will be one hitters to his missiles but he won't hit you. Then you have the advantage. 3 cruisers against him will work.
Same with my two cruisers and Interceptor. It will force him to use those materials he has been saving.
The diplo cube will have to go back.
It is definitely worth the cost and risk.

If Morgoth moves against me then my move will be to build two starbases in the hex he invades.

Despite Morgoth's traitorous and typically-Scandinavian cowardice (don't believe those Viking myths), I shall continue to provide full support to the Twelve Takedown.
That's right, both moral and emotional support.

Yeah guys, I'm sorry for not being exceptionally active right now. I've got a lot to do at work and at home. However, I did post my action.

See the huge sigh of relief he does not need to defend against you, or remove another cube.
When I first saw this I thought he was making a move against D'rek and thought what? Then I looked at the map and saw there was the tier III hex with two ancients and I let out a huge sigh of relief that I don't have to likely defend against Morgoth this round. So I would like to amend my provisional. Build two starbases in the hex that Tats is invading instead of splitting them up.
confirmed

Cheeky question: Tatterblend, are you going to pass on your go or do another action? And D'rek, you?

We were going to either build or upgrade, if you pass and set rotation towards you then great. Otherwise we may pass and then upgrade.
