Wow, hard to believe this has been going on that long!

And I thought this game was moving much faster than game IV.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

'was' being the operative word.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

MOVE

1 cruiser to d'reks homeworld; 2 interceptors to the adjacent hex where she has a starbase

return cube to science or materials -- whichever has room.

No resources, ships are all pinned. I could UPG but I think my ships are probably at their best already. Nothing for it then...

PASS

I'd say it's probably between CF and Twelve at this point, and I don't think twelve is at risk of losing any points. Can CF catch up and overtake? I don't think so based on the current layout but I could be wrong.

For most people this refers to resources... for twelve it refers to a physical number of ships :)

Also Cf if I was you i'd be hoping twelve sent his ships through to fight you for the monolith, not be blocking him off.

Can't be bothered dredging through the thread for peoples boards, but remember you need to be in as many fights as blank slots to get your rep tiles which is a guaranteed 3 or 4 more points.

Twelve is really low on moves as well, so I'd probably have tried a GC push, on top of taking hexes off d'rek but I'm not 100% on the upkeep situation

Is there an updated player board for CF? I need to check on his upkeep situation. I only have a couple moves left and I need to see what he has available money wise.

He's got way too many actions. Time to hedge my bets

Let's try the Explore option once more. (Please find the double ancient hex!!!!)

Assumption: Twelve is keeping Chi Draconis. Waiting on orientation and influence decisions.

I think this may be in the wrong thread :p

Move along; nothing to see here. :)

There wasn't that much luck involved in getting the double ancient to be fair there are only so many tier 2's and pretty much all the rest are in play or discarded. I think a few people have to really hit twelve now, but I can't be bothered digging through the thread to see if anyone has a chance. I think CF still does has a chance, though twelve can probably block him but the question is does he have the moves available, and will making them cost him the points he needs?

Also CF I don't think influencing the supernova is going to gain you anything moves wise, 2 discs on drek's hex opens up two money planets which puts you on 21 income anyway, and if it gets desperate bankrupting either 311 or 312 only costs you 1vp each, an influence or two is just a waste.
