Don't think so - it's Tatts that's in Turkey.

I'm just going to have to come to terms with the fact that self-vote suiciding will forever be referred to as "pulling a JPK" now, aren't I? ~ JPK

That being said - Tatts and I were debating whether we should be going clockwise or counter-clockwise for the turn order - I had originally said counter-clockwise (thus making us the second to go this round) but Tatts wasn't sure if that was our best move. Unfortunately, we never really got to finish the debate.
A point he made is that this late in the game it's not necessarily a good thing to be going earlier in the round - can anyone give me an idea why this is?

Because you can react to someone else that goes before you in case you plan on attacking them or being attacked by them, in your case that is Khell, me or CF. But you also have to factor in your number of actions versus other players available actions. If you can't out action someone then it might not be good to go later especially if there is a tech you feel you must have. There definitely is valid reasons to go later versus going early. It all depends on what your goal is for the round if you can influence the direction.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Okay, well, I'm going to make an executive decision, and confirm that the direction is counter-clockwise.

Forgot to say, colonise my two advanced money planets, and flip some ships (I can't believe I still don't understand the ship-flipping mechanic).
Ahh! Finally, the ability to do more than two moves a round! Now if only I had something to do...

Was that a preventative move or just something you wanted to help fill up your tech VP?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Both. A way of filling up that lower line without using all my science on 1 tech, and prevents you from getting it.

Well, that tech draw doesn't give me a lot of options... can't try and out-initiative the Draco missiles, can't add -2 shields to my high-HP dreads... hmm...
For now, RESearch Nanorobots

I know hey?
Kind of a dud tech draw for Round 8!
Should be a fiery round 9 anyway.

Well there were a few things I wanted but they got gobbled up already. Though I think I can at least get one thing that will help me guaranteed. So where has Morgoth disappeared to these days?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.
