Perhaps you'd like to R A P E him with an Icepick? would that be more appropriate.

And I'm still sticking with Draconus guys, maybe his sword wasn't anywhere near Dragnipur (But it looked cool as hell and he smashed a Jade Giant with one swing) in efficiency but I feel the main purpose of it is to hold the Gate of Darkness and to keep chaos at bay by enslaving fallen enemies. The fact that Rake is the only other person with enough will to wield the sword should say something about Draconus' character if this man planned on bearing the burden the entire time. The sword wasn't meant to be the end all of all weapons and the might and strength put behind it should reflect on the carrier. You said yourself the guy spent 300k years building the thing and you think he's gonna be out fought by a grief stricken champion and a Jaghut, Plzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Well assuming Draconus and Rake are about the same level of swordiferous fortitude and Draconus has the ability to turn into a giant shadow death cloud and curb stomp jade statues I'm gonna go with that he would either take Dassem (a far younger god comparatively) in a fare fight or, like the end of TTH he would find himself evenly matched.... errr... But then with Hood in the equation.. a being so powerful he eats Forkrul Assail for breakfast and big body slams them for dessert I don't think he could take them both and this would appear to be a very unfair match up...

That being said realistically Dassem would dribble some emo babble and try to stab Hood and Draconus would trolololol up the pieces

also... Cold Iron vs Hot iron... I have a feeling Dassem, as Dassem is now is like a raging volcano of emo fart rage and Draconus... having had about 100,000 years to chill out is probably colder than a Jaghut's nutsack and would easily win... But then... you know... Eriksonland is a land full of discontinuity and mad overpowered stuff where, pretty much anything could and has happened Pick your faves I go Draconus cos he's mackdaddy

I saw this poll shortly before reading FoD, so this particular piece of dialogue rang out to me. I'm a bit late to this thread, but I'll share it here anyway.


Killimandros to Draconus:

Hood alone is sufficient to pose Draconus a threat serious enough to warrant fleeing. The addition of Dassem should tilt this decisively in the duo's favor, in my opinion.
