So the potatoes have finally fulfilled their Emerald fantasy of flinging over the Meats. Do the Sir Loins bleed in red or orange? But as ever occurs the foliage is not disciplined enough to handle the Orangeman and their vile sycophants. The arrogance of the Orange must be turned against them.
Orangemen? Next thing you'll be starting a march
Vote Kalse
For bringing religion into the holy spat between 2 meat and 1 veg family. Oh wait...

Orangemen, particularly the section "Relationship with loyalist paramilitaries" but also referencing Politics, also parades in Interface areas, particularly Drumcree.
The Orange Order are Unionists, wanting the honourable potatoes of Ireland to remain firmly under the thumb of the English rosbifs.
I posit this is signalling.
I'm on and off for the next few hours

Interesting possibility on the signalling. If he were a symp then who is his master?
That is funny that you (Desra) should call this signalling, when you responded and voted Kalse.
Indeed, because I considered it to be signalling at the time. I didn't realise how many people wouldn't recognise (or research) the references. Tholen was gaining speed so rather than hold and risk a no lynch I switched. At the time I only recognised the Orange reference, the rest twigged today.
these three posts all fit together in a way that i don't like. first, you respond to kalse immediately with the same reference he was making (irish/english bit) but you ADD to it by bringing in the comments about a "march", "religion", "holy spat". later you explain the references (post 2). and then in post 3 you deny that you understood the reference fully when you made post 1. that does not line up. if you didn't understand anything but the "orange" reference, why did you mention religion/holy spat? that could only come from prior knowledge about the references kalse made, so why do you deny recognizing them? you even mention that you thought people would research the references if they didn't get them - if that was so, it would only make sense for you to also research them (since that was your idea) and comment on your findings. so it's pretty clear you understood the reference - why deny it? the logic on voting tholen is sound but your explanation about kalse is wanting. also, based on the post above, are you saying you no longer consider kalse's post signalling? if not, why?
