Yes, it worked. Posted Image

I will add it below the picture in the wiki. Your category page could also be a good place for it.

Those Stormriders turned out great Dolmen! I really like what you did with the colour - contrasting the bright blue of the water with the grey of the wall. Helps reinforce that idea of a clash. And solid drawing too. I think the ice armour was definitely a good choice Posted Image. Looking forward to seeing it all polished up!

So I had a sketchy Easter.

First holiday at home up to my own devices. here's what popped up.

Posted Image

I know, I know, this is not the finished Iron Bars I promised but I think I figured out something. There comes a point where I need to leave my ideas to breathe a bit.

I know I can do more on things and I need about a week or two to plan out how to make something better. This is why I can only manage patient clients.

This year I can't really afford the luxury of leaving off Photoshop entirely so I'm trying to use the down time to work on character sheets. Atleast that way I can keep working while giving other pieces a break.

I'll try a Korlat and maybe an Endest Silann or Spinnock Durav. possibly try an Orfantal if I feel depressed enough for it. anyways I'm gonna try my hand on the Andii see how that goes.

In the mix I'll probably figure out where the Iron bars piece needs to go and start my end of the panels on the Comic project.

Then I have that Magus piece I want to scrap and retry...

Lets wait and see how the workflow goes.

I think this is looking good, though it need not be said that his Dragon form would probably dwarf his Andii form significantly . . . maybe a little person next to the dragon for scale?

Love it, esp the dragon head that's a nice blend of Asian and Euro! .... but what's the semi-skirt thing supposed to be?

I have edited it accordingly, pushed the dragon form back into the distance and dropped a few figures before him for scale. Thanks for highlighting that.

Heh, thanks Abyss. I like both types and tend to sketch my dragons with a nod to both if I can.

The skirt is evolving into a weird mix of the Aketon and tasset/lame portion of medieval armour.

I'm trying to make all andii armour look casual and soft. Somewhere between quilting, leather and plating. Will be posting a few other characters later today. Need to finalize what I'm doing with Korlats hair then tackle Spinnock in detail.

Holy.Fuck.

Korlat is pretty much perfect. Seriously. Wow.
Spin... weird skirt thing aside, I really like this. The smile is perhaps a note too sinister for the specific character, but you nail the build, hair, and sheer look of competent warrior he should have.
The final piece is awesome.

Thanks abyss!

Always good to hear what works. Will try see what I can do about Spins smile. Will pass on completed versions to Colt for the wiki.

Speaking of...

Time to tackle the CG in a similar sketchy format. Character sheets for Smokey, prince K'azz, Skinner, Mara and Cowl then finish the one I did of Shimmer.

Will couple with portraits to get character and posture working together.

Shimmer has developed well. I decided to omit the whip sword in favor of detailing her upper torso and getting her face right.

She is a leader, I want that to come through in her expression. will be working this up and another secret image

Modern science has proven it's just not practical anymore.

Boobs do not draw arrow-fire like they used to.
