So, I started Dust of Dreams, could someone answer a quick question? What happened to the two tribal gods that were kept int he lawn of the Azath house, the Toblakai ones? I remember them dying, but who killed them?
Also, who were those demon royalty brothers that fought the Forkrul Assail? What happened to them? Or should I leave that to the reading?

I think there were more than two gods (rather four or five?) and they were killed by a combination of effort from Iron Bars (and Corlo maybe?), Ublala Pung, and eventually Silchas Ruin.
Those two demon princes show up again in Reaper's Gale when some Malazan advance marine squads stumble upon them in a farmstead or cottage, and one winds up killing one of the female heavies (Uru Hela), so the marines beat the crap out of them and destroy their house. They seek their vengeance and wind up meeting Fiddler's Drum and go kablooey. It's a pretty brutal little set of scenes, particularly if you liked both sides of the conflict.

They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Yeah, Uru Hela got axed. Not a good way to go.
Theorizing that one could poop within his own lifetime, Doctor Poopet led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top secret project, known as QUANTUM POOP. Pressured to prove his theories or lose funding, Doctor Poopet, prematurely stepped into the Poop Accelerator and vanished. He awoke to find himself in the past, suffering from partial amnesia and facing a mirror image that was not his own. Fortunately, contact with his own bowels was made through brainwave transmissions, with Al the Poop Observer, who appeared in the form of a hologram that only Doctor Poopet could see and hear. Trapped in the past, Doctor Poopet finds himself pooping from life to life, pooping things right, that once went wrong and hoping each time, that his next poop will be the poop home.

Ahhhh yes, thank you. Both of those were kind of random, but then again every book as a few of those moments.

My mind was a bit fuzzy on her Origin so I looked her up in the wiki:
If you recall we see the destruction from Setocs POV. I think I recall her seeing her brother or a friend being cut down.
Then she finds herself surrounded by a pack of wolves, who I assume are avatars of the Wolf Gods.
Quote
Stayandi was a mute Letherii child, who's farm was destroyed by Redmasks K'Chain Che'Malle to draw out the Letherii forces. She is orphaned as a result.
Seemingly the wolves at this point adopt her as one of them.

The whole Twilight/Shake/The Watch story. I'm at the point where I'm tempted to skip these bits.
Please, someone, anyone, tell me there is a point to these bits of the book?

The Shake storyline is, along with the Nimander and co storyline, a part of the preparation for the Forge of Darkness trilogy. They lay the groundwork by telling the reader more about Kurald Galain and the history of the peoples.
Also you are going to witness some of the more awesome fighting later on in the Shake storyline.

Only some of the best parts of the series, coming up.
But sure, skip them.
Laseen did nothing wrong.
I demand Telorast & Curdle plushies.
