I haven't dealt with any personally but my wife works for a few doctors and from what I can gather it's a personality pre-req for the profession in general for the most part.

All the symptoms said stroke. 15 minutes into the ride to the hospital they had all resolved. Now everybody is scratching their heads. More tests await.

I just had this happen 2 weeks ago almost exactly. I got sudden and complete double vision, loss of balance and I figured I was done-for. Like thinking about my daughter growing up without a dad and everything. Ambulance came at my request and took me to the hospital. Hospital was told to expect a 32 year old stroke victim (at which point I was pretty anxious)

About 2 minutes later (felt like longer) everything resolved. Best anyone can figure it was a migraine aura that manifested in my vision. Migraines are devilish things that can strike at any time in very strange ways. I'm prone to visual symptoms anyway, so maybe I should have known, but it was so intense I immediately thought the worst.

Since it happened, I've read and heard many stories (some firsthand) of the exact same and similar things happening. Although they are a pain in the arse, migraines are benign in a physiological sense (by and large), so hopefully that's all your dad had.

He has the blood enzymes that show up after a stroke. But multiple CT scans show nothing. He can't have an MRI due to a pacemaker.

@Khell - since you have a ton of discs to utilize this round, and not a ton of resources right now, we're in a good position to start trying to gobble up points and hold our defenses, I think. I don't think you really need your science or materials much this round. Why not grab Security Council now before someone else does (3vp for 6 resources is a good deal!) and you'll still have lots of discs to put down in systems later on this round, to get your income up for next.

the only discrepancy I know exists is IH's income. Due to the large time frame gap I'm inclined to simply leave it as is. If somebody wants to figure out what it should actually be, rep and one grilled cheese sandwich would be supplied.

Looks good to me, but what is the Special: GCDS: 2 under Tapper's points? Does he get points for killing the GCDS?
