I figured that out somewhere around the third play through of Vengy's message.

I'm still a bit out of whack with the call btw. My dad plays a message, can't understand it because his hearing is crap, and then ignores it. Without telling me that there was a message at all. So I've learned to check them every few days to see if there was something he didn't tell me about. (I turned off the auto-delete and didn't teach him how to manually delete.)

Hey dude, really glad you're doing better now - or at least are over your apathetic stint.

Reading the rest of your posts, I see why you dropped off the radar. I'm no stranger to neurologic issues myself, and they can really cause a lot of anxiety, which aggravates the already aggravating symptoms and generally fucks up your outlook on life. If you're feeling like I have in the past, then I definitely empathize.


I certainly echo the others in saying that we care how you're doing. Even though we're all a bunch of internet weirdos communicating via a fantasy book forum, don't forget for a second that there are humans on the other end of our forum personalities. Vent away and we're glad to listen and help out if that's what you need.

I'm so sorry twelve, that's awful news. Maybe D'rek is right and Eclipse is cursed! From what you say it doesn't exactly sound well-thought out either, more like a short-termist 'we need to show we're saving money right this instant' attitude which will ultimately come back to bite them.

well, I'm tempted to write off this game - it's been quite awhile now and peoples' motivation is already being poured into the current game.

What do folks think? I'm personally getting my fix from the current game, but if you all are really keen to finish up GIV then I can get the necessary files from Gnaw.

I'd of course finish it but I'm currently getting hosed in this game so I would be okay to let this one die if that is what everyone wants. Plus we need to know if IH will retake his position or if Vengy/Grief will continue as I don't think either one of them were really up to speed as to what they needed to do.

I didn't figure than anybody would be really interested in finishing this. But I thought I could but the file together just as an option.

I actually wouldn't mind finishing this game. It'd be interesting to see how the alliance battle ends up. Plus I think it might be pretty funny all of us trying to get back into how we were playing this game (or reading through and thinking, 'why the fuck was I doing that?' in a lot of cases).

But I also think we might want to come back to it only after finishing the current game. Eclipse 5 is going pretty speedily though, so I don't think it would be that long.
