You have 4 science. You can Research several Techs, including plasma cannon and fusion drive. You can also Research the conifold hull or whatever it is called if you trade in for one more Tech.

Morgy what happens if at the end of a game two players are on the same points? I've just finished a 4 way game and two players had 35 points, One with 32 and one with 27.

I've had a game that ended in a tie before. You add up all the money, science and materials each player has in the bank and the highest wins. I assume for Alliances you'd add and average the bank amounts like you do points.

@ Vengeance - I think, If I were you I'd research plasma cannons. That will substantially increase the power of your ships, and make you better placed to compete with Tapper and I, not to mention twelve and whatever chose to come through that warp portal. You'll double the damage output of your ships, and with your fortune of materials and cheap ships, you will feel the difference.

Yeah plasma cannons wouldn't be a bad choice if you are planning to build lots of ships and fight.
