Just finished a 4 way game between me, myself and I. Tried to stay true to each player. Two Terran factions, Eridani and Mechanema. I have to say the game was fairly well balanced but two players were unlucky in some battles. I found the Eridani very hard to play with. Maybe I played with them wrong. I didn't look into how to play them or anything.

Here's final scorecard.

I enjoyed it and it took me two days. Ha, should have taken one, but I've been busy.

I'm sure you were really angsty over betraying your diplomatic relations with yourself ;)

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Ha ha, the Eridani had no choice. The Terrans wouldn't have minded either way, but the only way they could move out is through green. Green were too powerful.

Lol, Tatts. Even when you win, you lose eh? ;)

What is the play order for Round 7?

I forget now - who is player 1 for round 7 and who gets to decide the direction order?

CF passed first and Gnaw second. Presumably, Gnaw would choose clockwise direction, so the play order would be:

CF
Morgoth
Grievance
Twelve
Gnaw
Tatts
D'rek
Khell
Tapper

Although, being practically in the middle either way, Gnaw might go anti-clockwise for tactical reasons...not sure what those would be other than making Morghy go last in the research, I suppose.

Ah, right, I think Gnaw was talking about which he would choose up-thread, if someone can dig up the post.

He is going clock wise I am sure. Yet I will let khell find the post.

Didn't actually take very long to find:

Hmmm. Twelve, I do believe you're in trouble. Veng can afford to do another action.

Rotation will definitely be clockwise. :)

Has anyone rolled for clearing the population in 304 yet? This will affect Grievance's Upkeep. Also just FYI, I'm going to be out of town starting noonish my time on Thursday until Super Bowl Sunday.

Go Hawks!!!
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

If it hasn't been done already, I just did it.

Using Orokos, twelve's dread rolls a 6, and destroys the materials population cube at 304. Materials cube goes to graveyard, influence disc returned to Grievance's board. Twelve can now (or next round) influence the hex.

Just returned from the Amazon, hope gnaw is alright. Some very strange targeting decisions in the battle with khell! Interesting game, but I think my alliance is toast now.

I loved my trip to the Amazon. It was where I first got drunk. I hope your trip was just as memorable.

Yeah I thought so too. Too bad you weren't here to set them straight.

With likelihood of winning at 6% for the leafy Planta at the beginning of the battle, the combined might of their alliance stood no chance. Although even the Planta must admit that they did not predict exactly how the battle would be won.

When we produced our mightiest weapons of doom - sharpened sticks made from our very heartwood - they collapsed into fits and appeared to have killed themselves laughing.

Sure, but we need Vengy to post upkeep still, I think?

I can do a dirty hack job of an updated board tonight (ie mostly with paint ;) ) if that would help.

Yeah, and Grievance has to do it himself/themselves really, as there are two grey planets for which he'll have to potentially choose where to put back the cubes.

At the moment, his upkeep is -21 and he has 15 money, so has to remove influence from two hexes (or remove from one and exchange resources - 6 materials for 2 money).

Grievance can remove influence from either 108 Mu Cassiopeae (science planet and grey planet), or 204 Vega (grey planet), or both.
