Yes I am but I still think my case is valid. Grab the military tech while you can. There will be a souce available later. There are very good odds that at least one will be available next round. And like CF says he can put a nuclear source on his starbases to cover the energy usage of the antimatter cannons even if a source doesn't come around. 3 5 hulled starbases with antimatter cannons would stop anything other than a full on assault. Hell 6 power is all he needs for his starbases anyway with antimatter cannons and gluon computers with his 2 double hulls.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Just fucking around with Twelve's prediction. I was a bit surprised at the results.
no source == 18%
one source == 66%
two source == 14%
three source == 2%

Hi, sorry to be a promise breaker and not post yesterday. Pitch competition took longer than expected and I had to jet.

Twelve's reasoning matches mine. I can deal with a lack of source, even if I want to get gluons next round, but I can't deal with a lack of damage-inflicting capability.

Note, this is the first time in any of the games so far that I've bought more than superficial military tech. Sweet!

Other than Khell, I think that's about as far as we can go with pure actions unless we hear from Tatts. After Khell makes his action Gnaw will throw up a provisional.

Put the hull on the dread. And remove the fusion drive revealing the -1 shield?




Or put the imp hull over the shield.
