If you ignore the weeds, soon you'll have an entire forest blocking your view.

Provisonal Turn 6:

reaction move interceptor from 206 Epsilon Indi to 208 Iota Persei.

or reaction move interceptor from 206 Epsilon Indi to107 Aldebaran.

or reaction upgrade interceptor blueprint. Replace plasma missile in blank spot with nuclear drive.

Ahahahaha! So much for ignore the weeds. What's got you worked up then? ^_^

Notice the word "provisonal"

@IH and Tatts. There's two more options as well.

Thoughts?

I don't know how up to date my map is but how about moving the interceptor in zeta herculis against Tapper. 3 of them have a better chance than two ^_^

Or don't do anything. Save your moves for the next round.

I put them there to keep Tapper's dread from bothering our assault on the ancients. They became scrap metal when Twelve left his homeworld undefended.

I'm tending to agree with IH about not bothering with Khell this round. But I do have options which you two needed to know about.

Edit: Also the obvious one. "The way I understand it that thing is a door across space. Well doors open two ways."

I don't see the point, you are just bankrupting your own hexes for minimal damage against someone else. I'd save your moves. An extra drive or a better drive on your interceptors next go I can see being a useful idea though.

The drives on the interceptor would allow me to hit Khell and D'rek simultaneously.

That would cost us Arcturus most likely,

Very interesting end-of-round. I am stoked to see the new board because I don't totally understand what happened there...sounds violent whatever it was.

@Morgoth, We should think seriously about picking up 2 of the available WH generators next round, for nothing other than to keep it out of the hands of the other alliances. They're a big expense, but it would be a solid measure of protection for our soon-to-be-valuable territories. Also, worth it for end-of-game territory grabs.

We might be able to put it off one more round if we find there's some truly stellar rare tech or priority weapons tech available...but soon the others will realize they're just 1 research away from a big mass of lovely undefended systems.

I'm not going after Arcturus...you can count on that at least. Our diplo is more valuable and I have no ships!

Hmmm

I'm actually thinking of doing a reaction now.

Should I try and save my interceptor or not? Thoughts anyone?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I know. But Morgoth doesn't have diplo with me. And the two drive option means leaving Tapper's dread unpinned.

So Arcturus would be an easy grab for somebody.

Just talking options though.

I'm struggling to see how that wouldn't bankrupt you out of the game (well I can see one way it wouldn't but it is still madness). Calm down Gnaw we are in a good position, no need to go with crazy plans just yet. save your moves and hit them when they are stretched even thinner next go.

I'm going to throw up a quick map. Mostly for error correction while Twelve's eyes are available. ^_^

Think of this as a tactical retreat. As in he who flee will live to flee, I mean, fight another day.

Thanks. I thought he was moving it to block your retreat.

Edit: Fixed. As is the warp portal dev. And Tapper's disc for Advanced Robotics.

Eh. I won't react. I'll take my licks like a good little exile. Where the galaxy perpetually has it in for our people.
