Personally I'd prefer off thread communication but so far I've been avoiding it. I knew gnaw had nova burst, but was trying to avoid mentioning it and making sure he had a ship in the GC. I was pretty sure gnaw was of the same mindset, but was misdirecting as much as possible whilst encouraging the interceptor move. If he had started doing something different i woukd have said something on thread. Also I'm pretty sure that interceptor was the best play over a cruiser gnaw, it was a brilliant move don't try to make it better :unworthy:.

Its condition 2, GC fires twice. You may as well retreat though as its Max 5 rep tiles per hex, so staying gains you nothing whilst retreating gives slim chance of survival.

That alone proves we didn't plan this.

The cruiser with +2 computers and 4 missiles vs GCDS with 4/5 health. 2 hits kills it.

Well 1. The gcds has 5 health nova burst only damages ships in that battle, not that hex as far as I know. 2. You would have scared them away and 3. Having the gcds stopping attacks through the gcds is an advantage for us at the moment, you be stretched thin if you had to defend gcds and arcturus.

I thought for a while you knew and it was all misdirection, but then you went for it hook line and sinker, I was doing my utmost to distract you all so you didn't see he had nova burst. I think you guys vastly overestimate how much attention I really pay. As soon as it became apparent that I was not going to be getting any discoveries myself, I stopped paying any attention to who was getting which ones :twoguns:

I've discovered that Twelve and IH are the only ones of us that pays attention. The only reason I do is because I make the maps.

The cruiser sounds like the better option at this point. go for that.
