Yet, he is also thinking about a potential alliance with Chmee Gnaw and the descendants of Draco. Leaving the ancient for now may strengthen that relationship. We see a path into the future rounds in which we could prosper through good ground work now. So torn is the Captain's mind on what to do. The next move will decide the next few rounds in terms of actions and consequence. He does not ponder this decision lightly.

No misunderstanding on our part, the Planta also seek a third race to complete the triangle of life. The only debates whether such a third branch is to be found with the Lyra or with another?
