Yeah, I'm really surprised how fast the explores went, too. Planta obviously makes a bit of difference, but the bigger thing I think is that everyone was exploring tier 3, while last game me, Tatts and Twelve only explored into tiers 1 and 2.

Kinda messed my plans up a lot... now I'm isolated with only 7 planets across 4 hexes.



Planta and Draco.

I blame Tapper. First by isolating the Planta to a single tier II hex and then by the turn 1 explore. It forced a bunch of defensive exploration.

So round 1 it will not explode. Round 2 it will not explode because whatever die I roll I already have 2 technologies. Say I roll two 1's. That would = 2. Looking at my tech I have researched two technologies. So 2+2 = 4.




So I need to research bottom track to have a +1 influence on my roll. Ie It is round two, I roll two 1's, yet I have researched Nanorobots. That means my lowest track will have 1 technology. So the total is 3. Seem as it is round two my number is greater. If I do not research bottom track then the super nova would explode.



It's a 2d6 roll, so the lowest possible number is 2. It cannot explode this round. Very unlikely next round.

I've mapped out the first 4-5 rounds. The ealiest I forsee me exploring that hex is round 6 and then only to conquor it myself. I really like how isolated I have made myself. I feel all nice and warm and cuddly all wrapped up in the dark blanket of space.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Gnaw, Tapper flipped a colony ship for materials earlier in the round. I guess he should have waited until later since he uncovered that materials discovery tile.

Updated boards posted with exception of full resolution board. GIMP and I are having an argument. GIMP is winning.


For phone/tablet users, the "save as link" should allow you to use "open link in new tab" and force load the image.

Gnaw I think you need to double check Tatts player board. He is missing at least one explore action on his player board and I've got to run so I haven't had a chance to review it very closely.

Tapper - I did not move the materials peg to reflect the materials discovery. He has 10 materials not 4 as shown.
Tatts - I did not move a disc from storage to action bar for turn 5. He is at -13 upkeep not -10 as shown.
D'rek - I did not move the disc on the Pulsar from move to upgrade.

I don't plan to Turtle, Khell and D'rek have sealed themselves off, and it looks like Tapper is going to Ally up with Khell also. That side of the board will gtet a lot of VP's.

With the newly discovered Hex Captain O Ryan has decided that he can use the new found Economy Planet to his advantage. He sees an opportunity to change one of the Economical Plants on the Super Nova to benefit his cause in the future.


Influence flip 2 colony ships.


Remove one money cube from Grey Planet on Super Nova.
Colonise Money planet on Hex 317
Colonise Grey Planet on Super Nova with Materials.

I just realised using an infuence action would cost me two influence discs. That would be crazy. Instead.

Research NanoRobots - 2 science.

-17 Upkeep = 10 discs = 6 actions + 4 hexes

Bank == $3, S 1, M 5.

Production == $10 = 5 cubes = 3 planet + 1 ambassador + 1 discard

S 3 = 1 cubes = 1 planet
M 3 = 1 cubes = 1 planet

0 unused colony ships,

2 ambassadors free

Unbuilt ships == 8 interceptors, 3 cruisers, 2 dreads, 4 starbases

Tech == neutron bombs, Gauss shield, Nanorobots.

VP = 8 = 5 from hexes + 1 ambassador + 2 discovery tile.

Claim Pulsar. Colonize tier 1 science on Pollux and money on the other tier 1.

I want a Pulsar upgrade action afterwards (replace power source 3 with power 6 on dread).



By my count, I will have 8 money income, 18 in the bank, bankruptcy with 2 discs to be removed. I have 2 tier 3 hexes with no planets, so hey.

Tatts. I'd love for you to do it this turn. I just can't see a way for you to afford it. We'd actually be better off if we hadn't exchanged ambassadors.

I can't see using individual ship designs for each race. In out jpg images keeping track of the different shapes would be a nightmare.

But I'm accepting applications for the 4 basic ships.



The sketchup models are smaller file size, easy as shit to recolor, and there are hundreds of them.
