Not great. Before we got too far the matter of relocation came up and with my wife just starting a new job herself we decided it was too far North for both her and I to commute an hour in either direction. But I was approached with another relocation dilemma recently that we are actually considering where she would keep her current commute and I would have the hour drive for a position that would be good experience for me. I'm waiting for my contact to get into the office and we'll see where it goes from there.

For college I commuted an hour each way for nearly 5 years so I was okay with that prospect but once the number started creeping up to and hour and a half or two hours that was getting ridiculous plus the pay wasn't enough to offset the additional costs.

Well right now I'm just considered a candidate. I think once they have a sufficient pool then they will start the interview process. Just deciding on being willing to move even if it's just an half hour South of our current location was a big decision. I'm still hoping I can land something a bit closer to home so we won't have to move.

@ Gnaw: Small issue with those tech tiles is that they don't have the names of the techs on them. That's fine on the iOS version as when you hold your finger over them it comes up with the details for the tech - but here we'd have to remember (and yeah, I know we've played this game enough times now that we should remember *whistles nervously*, but if a new player happened to come in they might be confused).

I know. The issue becomes problematic on the expansion rare tiles especially. I'm trying to find a balance between easy to read and still comprehensible.

ugh...been lying on my back for 2 days straight with a stomach flu.

Back in the saddle today kind of....what are we doing here Morgoth? Tapper's homeworld? I can probably handle that on my own. Slightly less production and VPs than the GC, but it's easier to take.

We could go balls-out for the GC if you're game. I'll need to take it afterward - to have the best chance of winning I'd have to do an extra upgrade I can't afford on my current income.
