Muon source is one of the few discoveries I'd consider taking at this point in the game. I can't decide whether to put it on dread, cruiser or interceptor. If I was going missiles having it on the interceptor would be a no brainer, but I'm not at all sure I will get missiles this game with my very low tech rate, and in that case will I be even building many interceptors? Hmmm let me think about this for a bit.
Whilst I'm waiting colonise the two planets in the hive hex
then my upkeep is:
£ 0 (1-7+6)
S 8 (5+3)
M 12 (4+8)
Upkeep -1

Gnaw before you bankrupt a hex to meet upkeep we should decide on a plan for the round.
I have limited moves, but can hit twelves homeworld, either of the ancients by the GC or any combination of the above (but will probably not be able to influence them).
Alternatively I could grab advanced mining, and ramp up the production, but then my attacking options are more limited.
Tatts I think you should grab advanced econ if it's available, otherwise advanced labs, advanced robotics or improved hull would be good techs to grab.
Have you done your upkeep? i'm struggling to keep track of how many moves you can do, but I think it is three right (and obviously a lot more if you get advanced econ)? If d'rek attacks you may be occupied defending. What are you thinking in terms of expansion? I can probably help you take out an ancient, or take twelves homeworld if you get a ship there.
Gnaw I think you need to concentrate on upgrading and laying down some troop to defend arcturus/keep the GC unoccupied/ready to take the GC later. Again I don't know what your move options are, but we could try and get you into twelves homeworld if you wanted.
I'd like to keep twelve contained on the other side of the hive if at all possible, as it will be a pain to deal with his ships if he gets them behind our lines.
So given that, what do you reckon is the best hex to deinfluence? There isn't really a hex we are definitely going to take next round, so maybe it's best to deinfluence vega, as it contributes least?

A plan??
We don't need no stinking plan!
Edit. Just got home. I'll give a real answer in a bit.

Thoughts on turn order Morgoth? Do we want to give the northern or the Western alliance tech pick before us? Neither are presenting much of a threat at the moment.

Dumb question:
Can ambassador tiles be moved around on the player board? Not removed, just change places.

Sorry for the delay. "Advanced Mining 03" seems to have escaped the svg file. Had to make sure it was an error there and not in the random.org lists.

The real answer is I'm not sure.
Vega or Chi Draconus.
Morgoth's choice of free cruiser over VP is worrying as I'm sure he knew it would be. Twelve or Morgoth with a wormhole generator and we have problems. Rather large ones.
All these wonderful walls are about to come tumbling down I fear.

Alright. The following is said with full awareness that had I been on the other side of the Nova Burst, I would likely not be saying anything.
Nova burst is a crock of shit. Sorry, but what are we supposed to do when you have an automatic 'win' button on your side? And no, I don't want to hear about how having more hull allows you to withstand it, it still provides an overwhelming advantage in any battle. And so again, what are we supposed to do? Wait around trying to build up hull while you take the GC (and then defend it with NB?)? Not attack you because again, you have NB?
It was not a genius play, it was the obvious play to any proactive move we made, and we were too retarded to remember you had it (or, in my case, even know what it was had I remembered). So basically we're supposed to sit around with our thumbs up our asses while you happily carry on gobbling VPs while waving your nuclear detterant around, assigned to you by random chance? Any first major engagement we have with you we're likely to be on the losing end of because of that, and the only good thing from this is that you at least had to use the fucking thing fairly early in the game. So Nova burst is a crock of shit.

Round 3 Rep Draw
302
http://orokos.com/roll/148462#
Description
r3 302 Morgoth rep draw. 2 tiles. 27 available
Results
1#1d27: 1 # 1 [1d27=1]
1#1d26: 1 # 16 [1d26=16]
A one and a two. Keep the two?
I looked at the rules and I think I've been doing something else incorrectly.
I've been drawing a player's tiles, picking one, putting those tiles back in the 'bag' and then moving to the next player in the battle.
So for 212:
26 tiles available. IH draws 4 tiles and takes one.
25 tiles available. Tatts takes 1.
It should be:
26 tiles available. IH draws 4.
22 tiles available. Tatts draws 1.
Which is correct?

You may not draw more than five tiles. Choose one of the tiles and place it face down on your Reputation Track. Put the rest of the tiles back in the bag. If the track is full, you may return any of your Reputation Tiles (including the oneyou just drew or one from the track) in the bag. The tiles are drawn in the order the players entered the hex, so that the player who first entered the hex will draw all his tiles first.
