What's the expected moves from tapper 2 builds and 3 moves? D'rek this is your master plan?

EDIT: You know nothing twelve! Well maybe a little...

You can still stop them IH. Move that Big bad Dread of yours to the GC. Wipe out three or four of those pesky interceptors and then retreat. You hurt the other alliance. The GC is still up for grabs and you gain some nice reputation tiles in the process.

ancients are blocking our way and we have decided our course of action this round you little horse whisperer.

Also you don't get any reputation tiles if you retreat. I was going to quite happily sacrifice my dread for those previous reputation tiles, but it is not to be.

@Cf - I realise I didn't respond to your suggestion for changing systems. I am positive, but it's too early to say whether I'll have the actions necessary to do so next round. I need to move my ships to you too.

This was initially my plan... then I realised I'd very cleverly blocked myself off from the GC. So my surprise last minute reaction sending my dreadnought amongst them to wreak havoc is not to be :unworthy:

Remember that the ancients in your way will be resolved first, meaning your retreat won't be blocked provided you win the fight.

Crap! I never even noticed that. What were you thinking!!!!! I gave you the perfect opportunity to wall off your access to me entirely and you didn't do it.

Oh well. Now you are in a perfect position to F the other side but because of that earlier round oversighy you have to settle with the, I have to admit, honorable position to finally put the hurt on yours truly. But I'm not beaten yet. Let's see what tech I can get my hands on that might save my ass.

I can't believe I wasn't either the first or second person to pass last round. I have the worse economic situation of everyone and I'm the third person to pass?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

You don't get reputation tiles for engaging in battle. You still get them for blowing up ships right?

Because of all this reaction nonsense. Team Doofus over there are desperate to go first next round.

Yeah IH you still have actions don't you? Move the interceptor to the ancinet hex and then move your dread to the GC since you were okay with sacrificing it altogether.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Not rushing you to it, just saying if I don't get adv. labs I'd be willing to part with it since it ain't doing me much good anyway. Something to keep in mind in rounds 4 and 5.

One interceptor in the next couple rounds is all it will take to claim it, and you'll probably need to send something to help defend once the North Alliance gets the GC and starts expanding. I'll also probably want to do a quick de-influence re-influence on Spica to change the production for more materials at some point too, so maybe we can combo the move and minimize resource wastage.

Though with me on the front lines, it might be a good idea to trade for something with a material world in the final rounds...but that's a ways off.

We are attacking the hive. I don't want to lose my dread over stopping them from taking the center.

Yeah an alliance of Gnaw and Tatts the two players that were near the bottom of the points pool last place as allies should make for a very interesting team this game. Can IH keep them in line or will he have suffered an epic blunder by allying with those two? Only time will tell.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

And technically you haven't lost your dread yet. Tapper hasn't even made this third (or is it fourth?) action yet. You still have time to change your provisionals.

Talk it over at least.

Yeah but tatts dread isn't strong enough to take an ancient on it's own anymore, so don't think we'll have the moves to do it without crippling ourselves. Maybe if he hadn't passed. Ah well I've committed to taking out the hive hex, so we better do it now, hopefully they lose enough that we aren't in immediate danger once the GC has gone.

Thank you for giving me the perfect opportunity to let you win again :twoguns: Sadly I had to decline.

I'm happy with screwing you over for now. Disappointing we didn't get to do it sooner with the second round hex explore, it's left me a move off where I thought I'd be at this point.

@Gnaw make sure you move that interceptor from by the hive hex into the centre. Let's make them sweat a little, if we get lucky with missiles they should at least lose a few interceptors. It's a shame you made the mistake earlier in the turn, and did two influences instead of one, we could maybe have thrown in more to stop them :unworthy:

If you guys made an actual effort early in the turn we would have just not entered the GC this round and let your ships die horribly, probably attacking Arcturuus instead, and then take the GC next round!

I hope tapper gets on this evening, looks like we can finish the round apart from him and move to combat.
