In all likelihood, Galain would have voted for Gait had you not said anything, which is what he ended up doing anyway, so ultimately I don't think there was any real difference, except that the day hasn't gone on longer.

If I was Alkend I would leave Barghast alive and target Okaros asap. Then go for Barghast next night. Just imagine this goes down to three players and they figure it out. That is just awesome. I may be getting a little bored with M and P but these bigger games always leave me with fond memories. Right now I am thinking of Dibs' poker game. Awesome.

I don't know if it's the interest that is sagging per se. I am certainly happy to be back and enjoying myself. I admit that I often fall into the trap of letting other people do the work for me. And to echo Bru I often get totally lost in my own head trying to sort my thoughts out. I'm gonna try a few different tactics to improve my play next game, particularly in the area of note taking.

Shin, I disagree with the way you intervened in the final day. You totally derailed town's last hope. The fact is that he was 100% correct. With 3 players left there had to be 1 Miura, 1 Uesugi and 1 Fuji. You make my heart cry tears of betrayal.

I haven't finished reading spoilers yet so maybe I haven't seen all of Galain's comments but he was still the only one on the thread with any suspicion of Alkend and then Shin shut it down right as he figures it out. Based on the short time span and the way I know that admonition would have affected me I have to point out that I don't like it. Still, I have yet to mod my own game and I try to refrain from telling people how to run theirs.

I'm not criticising shin. I love writing scenes when I mod. But no matter how many disclaimers you put saying scenes are just flavour, there will always be players that take them seriously. and it does affect games. sometimes. In this case, I doubt it'd have made much difference. Tapper's play didn't give any objective reasons not to lynch him.

But if Galain were to follow his own logic to its conclusion he'd have realised that lish was BSing about being Arai. maybe. maybe not. I can't say. I do know that things like what happened here can really derail one's thought process. And it's a shame that it happened. And no, I'm not at all bitter that Muira get to freeload a partial win because my team was better at catching scum earlier. nope, not at all.

Gonna read SH now, but damn I can't help but feel that Galain came to the right conclusion based on observation and the mods came on and steered him elsewhere. meh. Best to just let the thread draw its own conclusion.
