Ashamed to say I haven't read any Sharpe books, I started one years ago but got distracted and never went back to it.

Needs to be rectified.

Finished! Sad times that there will be no more but at the same time I think these books have run their course. Good ending to the series and Cornwell will always remain a favourite...

You should try them, and I THINK in the UK they are doing .99p deals for each of them every month in the lead to the new one that's coming out soon?

They're popcorn reads, probably quicker to breeze through than Uthred.
Go chrono, skip Trafalgar, Prey and Havoc. Return to them after
