I'm still going with my hypothesis that the two original 'extra alts' are of a different mechanism than the Tia/Rashan alts.

I think they were a different spawning mechanism, but were the same kind of thing. ie, there is no limit to the number of "generic vord alts" that the vord player(s) can control, they can spawn one per tile each night using an ability (choosing if they want to spawn a keeper, taker, or mantis {or other type, if there are any}), and they also start with X number. Tiam and Rashan were spawned from tiles, but Alkend was from the original X number. However, I expect there was no difference between the generic vord that started the game and those that spawn from tiles.

Goddamn, bodies hitting floors. I guess the best thing about this is we now know that the CFs are probably all accurate. Also nice to see Mockra has not respawned. I think this lends credence to the theory that the number of unkillable alts at a time are related to the number of infested territories. I feel its extremely important therefore that anyone with earth fury access work very hard at fortifications.

Korbas has done a number of scummy things IMHO. And yes this is a faction game but there is definitely a 'scum' faction.

I was surprised to see that his vote counted on the Mockra lynch. I would have wagered vast sums that it wouldn't. He's basically been screaming "kill me, kill me" the whole game.

I'm going to do a fair bit of re-reading, especially the first three days where I had absolutely no idea what was going on. I still don't but maybe some connections will be more clear now.

One comment on the deaths last night: are we really going to start offing each other before we know if the Vord are gone? Only one of those factions can win, but we can both lose.

I am wholeheartedly in favor of the bug squashing. But to largely ignore it altogether, which all but 2 or 3 people did, pissed me off.

So fener here has confirmed I am right that he is not Octavian. In my head I had him as either that or high ranking vord. Now I know he isn't Tavi then he's fair game in my books.
