Should the FA spend there time killing Tiam and Rashan, or use there abilitys trying to kill the queen? according to the count there was 5 FA, should they kill off the confirmed vord?

"Passive Action: During the dawn phase, you will be told how many players are on your current tile, including yourself."

The Aleran Herald Daily Chronicle and Examiner said that there were two factions represented on my current tile. 1 of each faction.

The passive says that, including myself, there is a grand total of...1 player.

We have two DISTINCT categories of non player alts.

The two extra at the beginning do not have a presence on the tiles. They are puppets.

Tiamatha and Rashan have locations and are a mechanism of the Vord. Controlled by... the queen?

If that is correct, then Alkend was a player. 18 players + Tiamatha and Rashan.

I don't think Tiam and Rashan are specifically associated with locations. I think that since the Vord have two infested locations, they could spawn two new generic Vord alts last night, one from each infested tile and the alt starts in that tile, but once the alts are spawned they no longer need to be "associated" with that tile. So, ie, if Rashan respawned at Shuar and Tiam respawned at Narash, and then Tiam dies tonight we could have Tiam respawn at Shuar and Gamelon respawn from Narash. I think it's just a pool of alt names being reused but the queen(s) can spawn a new Vord in every infested tile every night (possibly at the expense of other abilities?) regardless of whether the previous Vord that spawned there have died or not.

Sounds likely. Worth noting that Tiam was a Keeper and Rashan a Warrior - the Tiam lynch may be why the infestation slowed so much today. I'm wondering if the alts respawn with the same role or if they rotate through a range of roles. It may be that the role is tied to the parent tile?

I still don't like the varying timing of Tiam appearing vs timing of Rashan appearing.

I would love to see a somewhat substantial reasoning why Tiam and/or Rashan will CF the same class of Vord the next time they're wacked. The idea that their role(s) could change each time is worrying.

And to add to that: What if their spawnr ate is tied to their survival rate? Tiam survived a night and Rashan spawned. What happens if either one survives to next day?

Linear progression is bad enough. Exponential spawning could get way out of hand way fast.

IMO, that wouldn't line up with the books much. The Vord are spawned in eggs that grow on the croach, not from each other, so having more vord mantises shouldn't make a difference towards how many new vord the queen(s) can spawn each round. Only land coverage would increase that, ie infesting more tiles.
