Also, scum wouldn't want to hammer in this situation, it's to their benefit not to.

Well fuck.
So the next question is, do with think that Spite is scum? Or just the most fucking useless towny that ever lived?
I'm tempted to go with scum, because I'd hate to think any of my fellow mafia players that pathetically stupid.

Yeah, I'm happy to vote there.
If he's town, chances are he just threw the game.

Assuming we haven't hit the symp anyhow, though given Thyr I'm kind of hopeful.

Eldat Pressen was killed. He was town, and The Dude.
It is now day 4. The TIMER is FROZEN.
8 players still alive: Anthras, Denul, Kilava, Monok Ochem, Pallid, Spite, Ruse, Trake
5 votes to lynch, 4 to go to night.
Players not voted: Anthras, Denul, Kilava, Monok Ochem, Pallid, Spite, Ruse, Trake
During the weekend freeze, votes will count, but resolution will not happen until Monday. I will restart the game when I get up on Monday.

I'm reasonably certain Thyr was just fucking around, partly because the game number is Mafia 101. It's the sort of thing something SOME PEOPLE would do.
Also, bet you $5 Spite is going to be a quiet little mouse for the rest of the day.
Also, losing the Dude before end game is bad fucking luck.
I'm thinking Anthras and Spite are our killers. I'm going to use the weekend read through the thread.

I can't do it. Monok could have hammered. He obviously felt the same as me. No town should have to die there. We already lost Ryadd. Kilava you worry me with that kind of talk, man. We need as many players as possible.
I think I did the right thing for town. You'll see in the end. How did I lose it for us? I'm asking seriously. I'm not a new player, but I'm far from a veteran either. How could I have helped us by killing myself, and how do I know that the only two people asking me to self vote aren't the two killers? I'm not trying to be a wise-ass, I'm legitimately wondering. I really don't get it. I'm sorry.

Hmm, the kill isn't the least helpful it could've been though, since Eldat was getting some heat it saves us a bit of distraction.
It follows the same pattern as all the kills thus far have.
Kalse got pressure at the end of day 1. Serc was really only tied to Kalse, so the kill casts aspersions onto him.
I got pressure Day 2. Mockra was putting pressure mainly on me.
Spite was the main target today. Pressen was the first vote on Spite.

We do not need as many players as possible, we need as many days as possible. Often, one player more or less does not effect the number of days until D-day, because of what is sometimes called the odd-even rule.
With you alive, we currently have 8 players. WCS is 3 scum. If we lynch wrong, then after the kill there are 6 players, and scum win.
With you dead, we would have 7 players. WCS of 3 scum. If we lynch wrong, then after the kill there are 5 players and scum win.
The extra player does not buy us any more time.
Had you died we would have:
1. A smaller player pool to find the scum in.
2. Your CF.
3. You not around to distract us.
Instead we have a larger pool, and you alive as an uncertain factor, who is now going to draw even more heat for not lynching yourself in a situation where it is wholly beneficial to town that you do so, as well as that you had from yesterday, and the heat you would normally have for almost being lynched but not quite...

Ok, so Anthras says he'll be around for another half an hour.
The very next post, a few minutes later.
Anthras then does exactly that.
I think it will take something really convincing for me to vote other than Anthras or Spite today. The failed lynch is really the best indication of scumminess we've had all game.
Vote Anthras
The reasoning for Anthras over Spite is just that his seems the more obvious thing not to do. That is, I think it more likely that an inno might not realise self-hammering is the best thing to do than it is that an inno might not realise that it is a bad idea to put on a vote on to see if there is support for other trains and then not switch it before you leave when there is so little time.
Could really go for either though.

I'd vote either way if we need to. Might be best to go for Monok seeing as he doesn't have any substance to his posts, so will leave no evidence for scummy activity. Spite hasn't done anything too suspect, but at least adds something to the game with his posts, which might actually provide some evidence if scum, or insight if town.
remove vote
vote Monok
just in case something comes up. I'll be here for another half an hour.

Edit: Also, we shouldn't have a problem with a Spite lynch as long as neither you nor Anthras leaves your vote elsewhere and leaves, and no one else comes on.

Just got back in. I had to leave a little earlier than expected, and probably should have taken a minute to update, but how the hell is it completely my fault the day ran out? Seriously, there were two hours to an hour and a half remaining when I left. It isn't crazy to think that someone else would show up to play the damn game outside of the four people who decided to show up today. I'm sure I saw five anons reading the thread before I left. That means someone checked out the thread, said "fuck it," and left without doing shit (neither deciding to shift their vote, nor place one). I'm betting that it was scum, and that means that Kilava and Denul are probably town. Spite's refusal to self vote was off, so I don't think he's definitely town. And where was Monok? Holy shit, the timing on that vote was glorious! A Monok vote should have taken off, and based on that delayed vote it still should. If I weren't feeling so sure about Ruse as top priority lynch, Monok would be there -- but he sure as hell climbed the ladder with that move. Blame me all you want, but I warned you all that I was leaving with almost two hours left, and there should be more than four players deciding the vote at the end of the day (especially when there were better cases for lynching scum than deciding between two then-likely town players). I'm partly responsible due to factors outside of my control, but lack of participation is going to destroy us if we don't get our shit together.
edit: I'm out for the night.
