Right now you are here, what do you guys think? I have 16 materials. Best way to give D'rek an extra 5vp's is by building the shellworld in PSI Capricorni and her taking it off of me this round. It means less ships in my fight against twelve but it will give her some huge VP's.

Then when my ships go into GC Khell you could crowd alderbran?

If this is a bad idea then please tell me. It creates PSI as a 7vp hex.


Hmmm I think I made a mistake not getting it last turn. I think I may have just lost the game. Good play all. Of course I will still fight to the end but with that additional 5 points I think D'rek will take the trophey.

I still think this will be close. yet you did gloat, like 5 rounds ago, you could have built the shell world already or did something other than sit there bragging :)

Tatts, you can build the shellworld to deprive twelve of it, if you want, but I won't take it. It's too much of a jerk move.

I think you'd be better off just building all your ships and sending them all into the GC for an epic final battle. Twelve will probably build the shellworld and a monolith there, anyways, because anywhere else would be very vulnerable to an attack by khell/cf/tapper.

I was going to do it last round but CF didn't take Capella off of me and I needed the cash more. Then I was going to do it this last action but I realized that I may need ships more than the Shellworld and was hoping that CF was going to build it instead in SS's homworld. Once I realized that D'rek couldn't build it I wasn't too worried about if I could build it or not as I had a plan B. I have to admit that I didn't forsee you building it and gifting it to her.

And come on. If I hadn't been gloating about my impending inevitable victory do you think you all would have banded together in a let's take the smug twelve down a notch or two would have come to fruition? It's made the game much more interesting now that there is hope for someone other than me to win.

I just think it's hilarious that both you and Khell are basically saying fuck it I can't win so I'll fuck over someone else's chances to win. At least with Khell it made sense as he didn't have a realistic hope of winning. You on the other hand were in second place. You could have grabbed the Artifact Link and then used the remaing resources to defend against attacks and been the one challenging for the win.

I'll give you props, up until that point you started going suicidal, you exhibited dramatically improved game play from your previous game.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I wasn't good enough, bright enough to stick it out until the end. I didn't think I could win without people going after you, no one was prepared to do that.

It's not a jerk move, I only just realized I could afford it right now. He could have gotten it last round, or the beginning of this round. He has had 2 chances to take it and not done so. My goal was to deprive him of points and offer no resistance to you. Do you think you'd be sitting in most of my hexes right now if I decided to challenge? You can do whatever you want, Tatts. If you want to go total kamikaze suicide to prevent twelve from winning, that's your choice. And to some extent I'm massively benefitting from that. But there's still a difference from me playing on my own and taking advantage of the situation your kamikaze suicide gives me and collaborating for you to hand me things on a platter. If I'm going to win this game, I want to feel like I at least partially earned the win.

I can move through CF's 2 interceptors now can't i? Since I built 2 cruisers to pin them?

No you can't. You no longer control the hex you put the warp portal on so you couldn't build there. You built your two cruisers in the hex directly below your former homeworld. So you might want to reconsider your action.
