You are. I can't bring enough ships over there to make it worthwhile. Though I still have a couple of ships for which I'm mulling over where they would best be positioned (but I can't bring them both to the homeworld, so...)

CF if you go for his homeworld don't do it this turn, hit his other systems and tats and force him to build react or otherwise.
Remember you can reach the system on the far side of the GC.
With his current tech, if he chooses to he can just do a double upgrade and stick two conifold hull on his interceptors, you can't retreat and you'd struggle to beat it with missiles, and so he doesn't need to fire a shot, even one hull would be a challenge with 3 interceptors and you sticking with plasma. He's always going to be able to counter what you all do, so your best strategy is to force him to waste moves and hit him as many places as possible rather than in a position of strength.
Remember you can reach the system on the far side of the GC.

You're right IH, although I had planned on leaving my plasma cannons installed, and moving more than just 3 ships there.
Is it not enough if Khell hits south and Tapper hits north? Somebody has to go for the homeworld and I feel like I'd have a decent chance even against high hulls if I throw those computers on too.

The double confold idea only works if I don't install missiles. I can still put on gluons with my current power source, so they'd be pretty deadly...especially if he can't fire back!

Don't help the peons IH. I like to see them flail about. It's very amusing. If you help them out then I'm forced to at least try a little (and I do mean a very little) effort into beating them.

Yeah I noticed the major flaw in the double hull thing too when gnaw mentioned it to me. If I had somewhere to retreat to then I might consider it but I don't think you would leave me anywhere to go.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Yeah honestly the chance of beating you in a stand up fight went once you got conifold hull. Now the game is a thousand pricks and limiting your points potential. I think you still might struggle/lose ships if some missile and retreat options next to your strong points are set up for next round though. Your still weakened by a lack of moves this round, so it will be interesting to see how things play out.

What do you think I should do? I've got 2 cruisers in Delta Eridani, ready to go. I have two interceptors in Arcturus already. Should I reinforce the ships there?
