If you research to show that you cannot purchase the key then I will definitely move, if I move by trust and you get the key then I will retreat straight away against d'rek leaving her cruiser unscathed. Or is this not possible, i feel you're trying to trick me here Twelve.

If you look at it from Twelve's point of view his production is great, he is pretty powerful and out of me and you he'd prefer to face me in end game rather than face you.


See, I don't get this, because you've been ahead of me all game. The only military tech I have that you don't are Gauss Shields and Neutron Bombs, while you have Tachyon Drives, Fusion Sources and Positron Computers that I don't have. You also have much higher science income so will have better tech, especially with a 6x Artifact Key research. Yeah, I can build another dread next round, but you already have both yours built! So why would twelve want to fight you at the end and not me? It doesn't make sense, and hence you should probably be a little suspicious.

That would be suicide on my part. Plus I've got Tapper sitting on my border who has nearly as impressive tech as Tatts has. Why not deal with him first and get you two to fight each other. If you are doing that you aren't attacking me.

Tapper's was 100% legit. There wasn't even a provisional move in before he posted the correction. Same as twelve's.

Lucky for him I was taking my sweet time figuring out what to do.

Yeah I sent mine in last night hoping that you, Khell, Tatts and Morgoth had all gone even before I woke up hoping to get another action in today but alas I don't see it happening. Is Khell really on vaction next week? I thought I heard something about him being gone but I don't remember exactly where I heard that.

Some corrections to my board from your latest map update. Two of my colonly ships need to show as used and my materials in the bank needs to drop to 8 as I spent 6 to build the interceptors.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Minor details like 1 development each is something I could live with but I don't think it's strictly necessary

And I'd argue the Eridani are at a massive disadvantage despite their high money at the outset. They have 2 fewer action discs and are always running up a deficit as a result. Twelve got lucky that a) the flux missiles were drawn, giving him a chance at the GC production early and b ) that he was in a position to use all his starting money on quantum grid right away and c) that teh quantum grid was drawn early at all.

Twelve had some good luck this time, but a lot of things have to come together for Eridani to achieve such an early lead I think. Switching things around just for 1 race's success in 1 game seems a bit of an overreaction.

I guess it depends on if you actually follow through with your end. If you don't pin her ship I have zero incentive to believe you plus you already proved this game that you can't really be trusted so lie to me and I will grab the artifact key as I would be horribly idiotic of me not to do so. But if you do attack her I'll grab something else, probably a source. It basically boils down to if you trust me or not.

Tatts has already proven to be more suited to playing as the pirates than CF has this game so yeah I'm not going to believe much that comes out of his mouth. I'm going to let his actions do his talking for him. If he commits his ships then he's commited as I don't see you backing out of a fight with him the way Gnaw did so I know that he will have his hands full for more than a round. Otherwise it's just a bunch of hot air and I know he's got something else up his sleeve so I need to grab the materials to prepare for whatever it is.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.
