If you don't stop right now we will both be gone after this round. Because I can beat both dreads.

He only needs one move to move the Dread as it's thee spaces away and his drive moves him three spaces.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

No. You're on reaction, not action. one ship one space.

Yes you are right that he gets one move activation. But one activation moves his Dread three spaces. His interceptor would only move one.
Edit:
It depends on the drive how far a ship is allowed to move per activation.

The point is:
if you force me to take another influence action I will not have the funds to recover after battle. I'm gone.
And with two more actions, I can take two dreads. 95% when I last ran the numbers. But I've lost an interceptor now so it's proably down to 85 or so.
I would prefer not to have to make those calculations again.

I have been using the simulator, I do not know what nova burst/bust is to put that into the equation.
Without it, I am 98% to win against 2 cruisers and 3 star bases.

The Nova Burst is a discovery tile that he found. It's a one of a kind item. I'm a little foggy on when he is allowed to use it in battle. But I know that it causes one damage to all ships. I really do hope you force him to use it. That thing can completely wipe out a glass fleet.

Umm, how does moving to Vega block Tatt's dread?
Can't he go Pollux - eps. indi - altair to get around it? It can move 3 after all.
@Gnaw,
Well, I kinda thought you'd do that. Not entirely sure why you're spending so much time battling someone who was never even a threat, but you've managed to snooker me - for what it's worth.
The outcome of that battle could go in my favour still - the battle simulator is coming out with a 62% chance in favour of the defender.
Wait, do I even count as defender? I had influence but not any ships in there before he moved to the hex. If I'm the attacker chances are bang on 50/50

Tatts. Tapper told you you shouldn't have invaded me. Twelve told you he saw what I was planning. I'm telling you you can't beat me this round without bankrupting yourself.
Take the deal.

RE the vega block,
I guess it forces GP to use a move in pinning the interceptor.

Yes, you're defender. I told you I went 1 space too far. If I hadn't moved to fucking draconis I could back out. If Tatts hadn't invaded, I could back out. I put myself into a situation where I have to go all in. *shrug*

Ha, yes you are right. Damn back doors. Moving that interceptor does nothing.
And you are considered the defender as you have influenced the hex prior to Gnaw moving into it no matter when you move ships into the hex.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

RE my question above
I am the defender because I had a disc there already. Page 18 of core rules.

And, for the record, this is all Khell's fault. If he hadn't cried like a baby and talked me into the very thing that IH told me repeatedly not to do....

Well I feel bit better having the odds on my side at least.
You could have just sacrificed the cruiser and left well enough alone Gnaw. You're toast if I somehow recover from this.
