Ok, found those pulsar tiles and have added them to the tier 3 hex pile.

Also, use of those expansions means we have an extra ion missile tile and a Nova Burst tile in the discovery piles.

EDIT

Just posted on page 1 the available discovery tiles.

I thought we were still posting our actions in our latest posts as well as updating the front page? Given how out-of-order we are on the front page I am going to not realize it's my turn a lot if we aren't posting them here. If that's the case, Morgy can you poke me whenever you take your turn so I know it is mine?

I will do so. But only if you promise to be nice to me. We lost our home you know :apt:

I can empathize! I too was once exiled from The Core in a past life.

---

@CF - sent you the discovery tiles (and some other stuff in case you didn't have them)

MachachahaHAHAHacoughsplutteritalmostsaysenemacough: Action 1.
Explore 3rd (home world) ring, north west towards Solid Snape.
Align so that SS's and my Home World connect. If this is impossible, I'll have to review whether or not I want to keep the tile, but if this is possible, then: claim for the Hydraulics if it
a) contains no Ancients (duh), and a Discovery Tile, or
b.) no Ancients and a planets on which I can immediately colonize a cube (regardless of planet type). Colonize.
Extend Ambassador-offer to SS.

Tatts, If we manage to connect this round we'll both gain a strong early game benefit.

So if I explore north east and you south east?

@Tapper,

is that a provisional move then?

I believe the turn goes to Gnaw right now.

@Morgoth

I was thinking of exploring straight south from me, the tile between our two systems. If you explored NE or NW from your system we could connect.

I'm assuming I have the N/S/E/W axis thing right.

Hello everyone,

Busy weekend. I'm glad I came back to find out you folks were (mostly) just fucking with me. Easy to do I know and down right almost a regular pasttime for those that know me well.

@Tats

Have you taken up your Ping flag from last game? Even I found that it was nice to have the occasional elbow to the ribs nudge to help move the game along but I don't want to duplicate someone elses efforts as you are much more OCD about that than I am.

Love the pictures people are posting in the summary posts. Glad to see the lobsters found something a bit smaller to post this time around. Though I think heshould have picked that character from Futurama, what's his name, Squidarth? I think that is a better fit.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Ehrm, if we go from 9 down to 1 counter clockwise, then it is not an order - way too much water to pass under the bridge, especially considering Solid Snape would act before me.

I assumed we went from 1 to 9 instead, with the starting player chosing his race first as well as starting the game, as per the vanilla rule book?

Go ahead and post provisionals if you want on the first page. Just label them as such and update later.

We are playing with house rules on this one. If anyone cares here are the vanilla rules from the original game:

Give the
Starting Player Marker
to the player who has spent the least time onplanet Terra, in the Sol system. Beginning from the starting player and moving clockwise, each playerchooses a starting hex and the accompanying Player Board [13]. He then places his Starting Sector hex [14] in one of the six startingspots in the Middle sector area (two hexes away from the Center hex;the illustration on left shows a three player setup). Place your hex inthe starting spot closest to you. Put the rest of the starting hexes andboards back in the box – they are not used in the game.

That's for when you play as all Terrans.

Quote

If you decide to play with the alien species, players choose the species
they play with. Beginning with the player on the right side of the starting
player and moving counterclockwise, each player chooses a species
and places the starting hex. Note that if you choose Terrans, you
also effectively choose one alien species out of the game.

At least that was my understanding from what IH posted in the pre-game thread.

CF, I was taking a look at the discovery tiles you have listed and I don't see the free tech tiles. Are you not going to includes those tiles this game?

Edit

And what does the Nova Burst do?
