@CF - Moved 2x interceptors to Zeta Draconis

Was that action 5 from you CF?
If so it's Kehll's turn 6.

Spoiler

So if you don't take out both of the ancients in the first round and if the ancients hit for anything less than three hits they will destroy one of your interceptors as one hit will kill them. If they hit twice then they will take out both of your interceptors. Three hits will of course take out your cruiser and leave your two interceptors alive. I'm sure you will win the fight but there is a slight chance you could lose one of your interceptors.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

The movement was CF's 5th action. As for Khell this is how we've played it in the past.

When someone has passed then you can say "If so and so doesn't do a reaction then I do X. " Or if you are seriously concerned that a reaction will alter what you will order then you can ask that a player before you confirm they pass again. But as you and Khell aren't connected in any meaningful way then you can just assume that he passes and go and do your 6th action.

Hmm, my theory on the advantage of e-computer over hull is not correct then.

Regardless, that's what the simulator says. Maybe it's as simple as the to-hit bonus from the e-computer on the interceptors. Given that they have plasma cannons, any improvement in their to-hit chance makes it much more likely an ancient will get kersploded.

EDIT

I also forgot about my shields. Having those means I negate the ancient computers. That makes a big difference when we're talking about the enemy only having ion cannons.

Khell has passed. You might as well assume he will not deviate from that and post your provisional. He's out of money anyway so it wouldn't be advantageous for him to make a reaction.

There are 9 tiles left. 5 of them have at least on money planet. Odds are in my favor. But, yeah I'm pushing my luck as far as I can.

I just want to make sure you understand with that move...if that supernova explodes , you'll lose the ability to move in and out of that hex. If you still want to do it, then that's fine.

Yes. But thanks for the clarification.

I think with wormhole generator you can move through an exploded supernova hex. I'm not 100% sure but it could still be technically possible. I could look into it deeper if anyone cares.

I'd need snake eyes for it to explode this round. Unlikely.

You can move through with wormhole generators.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

@All

D'rek passes and I see a provisional pass on everybody else too.

@CF

MOVE - cruiser to zeta draconis

@Gnaw, back to you for action round 7 unless any provisional moves are made.

@ALL, again: If you are planning on entering diplo after combat, please update on page 1 what cube you want on your tile. For post-combat diplo, I have:

Orion + Exiles
Rho Indi + Hydrani

Ah well. Odds went against me.
If I keep it, that leaves only 2 explores remaining? 3 if I turn it down?

You got it. 2 explores remain if you keep that tile. And odds are not against you, that's a good tile and a single ancient is no threat to a player with an economy like yours.

I meant the odds broke against the tiles I wanted. :p. Had to happen eventually.
Yeah, keep it. Pass.
