If you noticed in my quote I said one of the actions was from a pulsar so it was subtracted from the total. Let me take another look at you upkeep situation. I did notice a few things that you will need to correct on the page one post. The cruiser has to stay on Spica as that is where you found it. Also you need to specify where you would like to build the cruiser. I'm assuming you want to do it on your homeworld but you need to verify that.

Correct. When you use a build action you can place the build anywhere you have an influence disk in a hex. If you find a cruiser or ancient orbital or warp portal discovery tile they have to be placed in the hex where they were drawn.

Also, if you pass after your pulsar action you will have an upkeep of -7. So you will have 2 in the bank after this round for money.

Yes there are 10 hexes to choose from but only 4 more are allowed to be drawn. There will be 6 that are not used at all per the game rules.

Talk to me gnaw, what do you have in mind? I haven't seen the techs, I don't know i therell be explores, you didn't answer about double ancient. I haven't looked that far ahead and made a decision. I could lose against ancient. Drek may go hostile. Ancient may drop in from hive. To many things to think about.
