I may have posted in the game thread rather than spoiler thread, saying that I had been dreaming of a Mafia 99/100 double victory, but that in all probability that now won't happen. I then lamented about Brujah and dkt not being around (I got confused, forgetting that Brujah is now dead, and that dkt is Nimander, not Eldat).

I saw that you had posted last in the game thread but by the time I got to the thread to read it you had already deleted it. The Dude was probably the only one that actually may have seem it as he seems to be the only one keeps tabs on the thread with who are left.

For the record, I still completely and steadfastly maintain that NOT lynching the SK straight away was the correct decision with so many other known scum around at the time. Further, there was absolutely nothing stopping scum from continually NKing the SK in those first 6 days - so they can stop their holier-than-thou whining about it

I further declare that arguing for Tulas to kill Togg, knowing full well the powers he would take from that, was also the correct decision, as we had no other way at the time of getting rid of Togg (and we NEEDED to do that). To put it another way, it was the 'best' choice among a whole raft of horrible/unhelpful choices available to us at the time. Moreover, at that point scum were far stronger than town - working with the SK to eliminate a fair few of them was the only way the scales would be tipped against the favour of scum factions.

Indeed, had we had better organisation/participation in the last few days, after the deaths of Sukul and Tulas Shorn, we stood a chance of winning the game. Unfortunately, town imploded instead.

Not really. There were several town vigs still available at that time which could have been used to eliminate Togg, and Togg wasn't doing any lethal NAs on people anyways. Yes, you needed to remove Togg to get to Fener, but Fener was getting guarded relatively often, too. So the option was there to guard Fener every night, go all out on lynching Sylar and then vigging Togg after Sylar was dead.

Unfortunately, I think that was because we had the biggest ranks, not because we were really good players or anything.

Also, I completely believe that this game would have had another result without those Mod-Kills.
