HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

Ah, shame. It must've ended at some point yesterday, cos I bought a couple of other books at £1.99 during yesterday morning. It was a Gollancz promotion, including lots of other fantasy and science fiction, to coincide with the two festivals they did (one in Manchester and one in London) last weekend.

Matthew F@#$ing Stover's Heroes Die is on sale at Amazon for $1.99 here!
Also picked this up for free yesterday: an omnibus of the first 3 Jason Dark Supernatural Mysteries; looked intriguing, and the reviews didn't put me off...

So somebody want to throw me a bone here? I need a new quality writer or series for cheap, as Christmas has left me poor.

Not sure if it's still on sale but Clines' EX-HEROES series was selling for $1.99 a book recently on Amazon. Superheroes vs zombies, insanely fun.

Thanks - I already cashed in on that deal and bought 2-4. I would love to find something of similar quality, though. It seems that 90% of the material that gets put on the Deal shelf is low grade, so it's just too bad that I'm not a consumer of sweaty romance novels and YA pulp, for then I would be in luck.
