You'll need to delete everything else on your Kindle to get it to fit though.

Pretty much *all* of Tolkien's stuff is $2.99, including THE HOBBIT, each LOTR volume (*and* the all-in-one edition!), UNFINISHED TALES, CHILDREN OF HURIN, and BEREN & LUTHIEN.

Picked that up. I was planning on a reread, but keep procrastinating because I don't want to go hunting for my copies in the basement.

i know, right? ...he almost could have made it four book s and turned it into at times a bloated frustrating mess with wonky pacing and entire stories that went nowhere at all, but along with his skilled editor wisely trimmed large ungainly chunks of unnecessary events and extraneous plotlines that added nothing to the otherwise original (for its time) and interesting story.

Luna New Moon is AMAZING. It's a story about people who've settled the moon and a conflict erupts between clans.

Comes off as a much better Game of Thrones in space type deal, although it is its own story.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.
