Helene Wecker's wonderful The Golem and the Jinni is on sale for $1.99. Grab it if you haven't already:

US: http://amazon.com/dp/B008QXVDJ0
CA: http://amazon.ca/dp/B008QXVDJ0

Just chiming in to endorse this book to all those that haven't read it. It's wonderful, and you can't beat $2 for it.

Thirded emphatically... look, i used bold, italics, AND underlined!

That's a silly low price for a well written, really enjoyable, nicely original book.

Audible is having a site wide 30% off sale. So if you're a member and already get a discount for buying books instead of using credits, this brings down the price of a lot of books to less than what you're paying for a credit (ie if you're paying $15/month/credit and the book is now $10...).

You can pre-purchase books not out yet and still get the discount.

Worth a look.

Amazon US is giving away 9 international novels for World Book Day here.

A couple looked interesting, so I grabbed The Gray House and The Light of the Fireflies.
