It was only $1.99 when I grabbed it on Friday!

Gotta say, these are worth a dollar each just for the action scenes.

Aren't those books all public domain and thus available for free always on places like Project Gutenberg? The Russian ones being perhaps the exception because the good translations aren't necessarily available free (but I dunno what the good translations of those two books are).
I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.

That's true, but public domain titles in digital formats are often low in quality edit-wise, as text is produced by volunteers (or sometimes people seeking to make an easy buck on Amazon w/ 99c ebooks of public domain titles). Hopefully with Open Road Media the quality control is tighter than usual.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Yeah, most of the Open Road Media public domain stuff is usually $0.99, so I'll grab them when they're free to replace my Project Gutenberg versions. Generally much better quality product, all around.

I was surprised that there was not price match in Canada. When Daw titles usually go on sale, it's usually on both sides of the border. . . :/

Yeah, sad really. Ah well, I'll keep my eyes peeled at the used bookstores instead.

Not even sure it's that complicated. I just use 2 different email addresses for my US and UK accounts. (Though I did use a proxy whilst setting the UK one up, just in case.) I even have the same credit card tied to both accounts. No having to log out or do any browser shenanigans at all, now.

I used my brother-in-law's UK address. That's...a little less shadowy? :)

I should clarify that i heard about that from a complete stranger who heard it from another complete stranger at a coffee shop in a foreign jurisdiction who allegedly read it on the Internet.

In Chinese.

Translated from the original Klingon.

In 1997.

The reading, not the translation.

I think.
