Not SFF, but several Agatha Christie titles are available for less than a dollar on Kindle. 

One for as little as 0.29$!

Peter Clines' latest The Broken Room is .99 cents on Kindle and you can add the audiobook for 1.99. I believe Abyss really liked it.

You believe correctly. That sale is absurdly good value even if you buy the kindle just to get the earbook at that price.

I haven't read anything by Will Wight yet, but i know a few here are fans of his, and my eTRPFH is loaded with his stuff as a result. For a change, here's an earbook, HOUSE OF BLADES, bk 1 in a completed trilo, FREE for audible.com members (which you can become for 30 days no charge, but might want to hold out for amazon Prime Daynext week because there are usually excellent audible trial offers).

That whole Alex Marshall series is so worth the time and the money. I've read it 2.5x now. The titles are a bit too generic, but the stories are 10000% not.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.
