Patrick Rothfuss' The Name of the Wind is 1.99$ on Kindle.

I'm just not sure I can be bothered with this. Like, it's not going to be finished is it?

I do still love the first book, even if the third never materializes.
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

Going off-topic perhaps, but I always wanted the Draccus crossover promo character for the King of Tokyo boardgame:

I had a look as well. Nada really. It's not even much bigger of a sale than they normally do deals on the daily.

Oh they're clever. I bought Interlibrary loan. Then I realized it's number two in a series and only a savage would start at book two. Of course book one costs 12 dollars.

It's $9.99 on Kindle. I don't have his last 2 books, so I bought it for $2.99. Maybe I'll catch a sale on the first book before I read it. Thanks for the heads up Salt!
