Ann Leckie's THE RAVEN TOWER is up for $3. Always wanted to read this, so I'm grabbing it.

Huh? Everything I see is $10 except for the 2 newest books, which are $15.

Might be geography, but i'm looking at .com right this second and everything from STORM FRONT to BATTLEGROUND is $2.69ish in the kindle store. $2.99 in .ca.

...which is kind of nuts when you think about it. Either PEACE didn't sell as high as expected and this is a recovery tactic, or it sold SO WELL in dead tree and earbook that they're trying this for the fun of it to boost the ebook side of things.
I did read somewhere that the earbook sales exceeded all expectations.

I picked up the two collections i only had in earbook and pre-ordered BG.

Yeah, I'm guessing it's a regional thing. This is what I see:
Spoiler

Sucks because Dresden stuff almost never goes on sale on the .com site.

Yep, I have my VPN on (States) and it shows what Salt-Man is seeing.

That sucks. I wonder why it's just Canada?

THE HOUSE IN THE CERULEAN SEA by TJ Klune is $3 on Amazon. I've heard nothing but good things about this book, and how heartwarming a read it is.

Number 1 bestseller in the LGBT Humorous Fiction category. Yes, this should almost fill out my yearly progressive reading quota I think. Now I just need some BLM Lovecraftian... Ah yes, Lovecraft Country.

New humble bundle: Books 7-33 of RA Salvatore’s Drizzt Series and his Cleric Quintet.

https://www.humblebu...vatore-showcase

I will be picking this up. Had some nostalgia while moving when I came across books 1-12 of this series, all tattered omnibus editions. Should be fun to reread the old ones and try the new ones.

So I'm guessing I shouldn't worry about Drizzt dying in book 22?

I think he dies like 3 times in the series.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

He is also a big Gary Stu, so he kind of like SHOULD die like 30 times and doesn't. LOL

Ah, you've spoiled the series for me. Now there's no reason to read all 33 books. What a shame.

Did you...did you think that Drizzt, the character the books are about would die in the course of the 33 books and someone else was gong to take over?

They are still a lot of fun to read. D&D adventure fantasy isn't asking much of you.

They didn't necessarily start out as Drizzt books - it's just that Salvatore realized that's where the audience response and money was, so the ensemble cast shuffled around a bunch.
