If Energy Bend is used during avatar state it would resolve before remove bending so the person would lose their bending. If not in Avatar State then Remove Bending goes first, so they don't lose their bending.

Khell is Asami. In order for Amon to recruit, his Remove Bending has to be successful, Asami is not a Bender, so she can't have her Bending removed, thus cannot be recruited.

You can Fire bend tonight if you want because your timer is up. But if you use avatar state, even if your timer is not up, you can use fire bending. But your timer is reset as of the avatar state fire bending if you use it.

I am hoping Kaschan pops online before night times out. He can use Diplomacy as it's not a bending action. If he does, it will completely change how Night 7 will go. If he uses it, Kaschan and Emurlahn don't get recruited to Team Avatar, if he doesn't use it, then they do.

Captain Saikhan, the new Chief of the Republic City metal bending police force, sick of his inability to act, joined forces with Team Avatar to perform another raid on the Equalists’ base on Air Temple Island. It was rumoured that Lin Beifong, the former chief, and Tenzin, having lost their bending to Amon, had joined forces with the Equalists. Captain Saikhan did not, for a minute, believe this could be true. They must be being held there against their will. He stepped onto Air Temple Island, having dropped from one of the police force’s dirigeables, Korra on his right, Asami on his left. Amon stepped onto the battlefield, his trusty Lieutenant on his right, Lin Beifong and Tenzin on his left. They stared each other down across the courtyard. Captain Saikhan shot his metal wire at Amon, catching him and pulling him close. Asami tried to catch Amon with her Electrified Glove just as he flew by her, but the Lieutenant, ever vigilant, got to her first, injuring her before she could do any damage. None noticed, however, as Korra bended the earth beneath her to send her flying towards Tenzin and Lin Beifong, air bending to break her fall. One by one she placed her thumb in the middle of their foreheads and returned to them what had been taken away. Lin Beifong immediately used her metal wires to pull herself, Tenzin and Korra back to the safety of the dirigeable. She then shot her wires back out to pick up Asami and Captain Saikhan. Asami was able to dodge the Lieutenant and catch Lin’s wire as it flew past, but Amon already had Captain Saikhan by the forehead, pressing his thumbs to its centre, and leaving him lying in a heap. By this point, the Equalists had managed to turn their artillery towards the dirigeable, so the members of Team Avatar had to pull away or risk being downed by their enemies.

It is now Day 8. 18 hours remaining.

Mythos question - does a person who can energybend still lose their powers if they are bloodbended to remove their bendies? Wiki does not say. Hrmmm

In the series, Amon takes away Korra's bending. However, at the very end of the series, Korra finally comes in touch with her spiritual side, and realizes that she can energy bend herself and others to give them back their bending. It is implied that Bloodbending to remove the powers is akin to a more permanent form of Chi Blocking - it's physical, but that the Avatar's energy bending powers allow her to reverse the effects. In Avatar, the Last Airbender (the series about Avatar Aang that preceded Legend of Korra), when Aang removes someone's bending, it's done using energy bending, so it's spiritual. It cannot be reversed (except maybe by the Avatar, though that's never confirmed either way).
