I believe that this action was after night timed out.

Fener, on 04 January 2013 - 09:05 AM, said:

Oh, damn. If it's possible then Kill Galain. Hope that's ok since you know I would've if I had known my NA was still available.

Anomandaris, on 04 January 2013 - 08:39 AM, said:

Sorry. I'm having finales.
Glove on Osseric.
my tank blast is useless again until day 7 ?

In the interest of finishing the game sooner rather than later, I will accept both actions. Am on bus to work, will resolve when I get to work.

Here are results of Night 5

Galain

Your remove bending ability was successful in both cases.
You have recruited Emurlahn, but were not successful in recruiting Osseric.

Spite

Your Kali Sticks ability was successful.

Anomandaris

Your electrified glove ability was successful.
You have been killed. SH password is present.

Kaschan

Your Air bending ability was not successful as you were not targeted by any actions.

Emurlahn

Your bending abilities have been removed.
You have been recruited by the Equalists.

Your new VCs are as follows:

Korra must die. All benders must have their bending ability removed, or be dead.

Fener

You have been incapacitated so your Fire bending ability fails (timer starts). You also may not vote during Day 6.

Tennes

Your Mecha Tank ability was successful.

Osseric

Your bending abilities have been removed. You may use them again on Night 6. Commune with the Spiritual World is not considered a bending ability. However, you have also been incapacitated, so your Commune with the Spiritual World has failed.

You may not vote during Day 6.

Ampelas

Your Earth bending ability was successful. Spite is an Equalist.

Things were becoming desperate in Republic City. Just as it seemed that they were finally going to stop Amon, yet more of his trickery threw them off his trail. What was left of Team Avatar decided it was time to start concentrating on other members of the Equalist organization. Asami Sato was particularly interested in stopping her father, who had been confirmed as an Equalist supporter. Asami hijacked a mecha tank from her father’s arsenal and began destroying Equalist aircraft. Hiroshi confronted his daughter in another mecha tank. He scolded her for going against him and exclaimed that she was beyond saving. He then proceeded to attack her, but Asami fought earnestly. Hiroshi was knocked down by his daughter, but she was very hesitant to hurt him. Hiroshi used this momentary distraction to knock Asami back down. As the businessman prepared to finish her off, Korra and Lin Beifong, the disgraced ex-Police chief, rode in on Naga and flung earth projectiles at Hiroshi's mecha using their bending abilities and yelling that he was a horrible father. Amon, seemingly forever present, jumped out of the shadows, knocking Korra and Lin Beifong off Naga. He then grabbed Lin Beifong, affixed his two thumbs to the centre of her forehead and left her lying in a heap.

Lin and Korra’s attacks combined with a blow from Asami's mecha, however, put Hiroshi Sato’s vehicle out of commission. Hiroshi vainly tried to escape on foot, but Asami blasted him with her mecha tank, sadly agreeing that he was indeed a horrible father.

Anomandaris is dead. He was Hiroshi Sato, a member of the Equalists, and EmperorMagus.

Must we go through this whole charade again today? :D

It IS pretty funny. Today she will be able to use Desperation, as it is available, and she is not incapacitated. Quite hilarious!

Bollocks. Fucking Bollocks. Fucking absolute bollocks! Especially after Ano has died. Fuckety fuck. I'll have to say little to nothing today because they'll want to lynch Galain which I'll have to agree with if I have any chance at surviving and winning with these crap heads.

This is impossible for us to win.

Heh, this is kind of funny, because if the Equalists don't win at this point, I'll be very surprised.

Ok so this is how I see the game right now. For simplicity sake I have put Avatar and Republic in as Towns.

Ampelas - Captain Saikhan - Shinrei - Town
Emurlahn - Lin Beifong - Tattersail - Equalist
Fener - General Iroh - Sixty - Town
Galain - started out as Mako - Gnaw; became Amon - D'rek - Equalist
Karosis - Feathered Hat Man - Bubba - Equalist
Kaschan - Tenzin - Starling - Town
Osseric - Korra - The Dude - Town : Can't vote
Spite - Lieutenant - Tapper - Equalist
Tennes - Asami Sato - Khellendros - Town

I have the break down as

4 Equalists
5 Town - 1 whom can't vote.

So if the Equalists just don't vote then there will be no lynch. Taking the game to night and allowing for Drek to use her action on Osseric and another player. Changing the balance to the Equalist for a lynch the next day. Since both Fener and Tennes have admitted on thread that they can kill. I would suspect that Drek would try to convert one of them. The odds of winning have now flipped to the Equalists side.

My point exactly. This would make it so that Drek doesn't even have to use Desperation... If she IS forced to use Desperation, the game changes dimensions again. She would become Independent and would lose her recruit ability. So the Equalists would be down to 3, town 5 and Drek independent.

Nobody can guard the remove bending ability. So why don't you people just go on the thread and lay out exactly what drek needs to do in order to win the game...sigh... ;)

That's all she needs to know.

Fener and Osseric tonight.

Kaschann the next.

She just needs to trust me. And Karosis needs to step out of the weeds and declare himself.

Your math is wrong. 4 ekewes. 5 town. 2 town can't vote. Fener and Oss.

If ekewes ran a test vote they might find they own the game.

Yes, but if Drek goes independent, she may become a target. If she goes independent, she only needs to survive to win. Numbers wise, if she goes independent, Equalists lose a large chunk of their power (the only thing keeping them alive, really, is Drek's double remove bending and the threat of vote control), plus, because she'll then be considered a bender, they'll need to kill her off too. I could see her flipping to benders' side and helping them wipe out the rest of the Equalists.

Gods, this game is actually pretty epic. It can go one of three ways, as far as I'm concerned, and I could see any of the directions it can go happening all based on one little decision!

I am interested to see if Osseric's gonna get hit with another incapacitate. Cause remove bending won't stop the Commune with the Spiritual World action, which will allow her to become a fully realized avatar, and avatar state allows her to ignore Remove Bending, so she will be able to start giving people back their bending, and performing NKs and such.

Actually, Change that. I read my VC's wrong. I thought another bender had to be able to bend when Amon died... but it just turns out Only another Bender has to be alive. Since Emur is a Bender and alive, if Galain dies tonight I will fufill that part.

Night 6 action

Heh, and The Dude is a little indecisive...

Osseric, on 04 January 2013 - 07:20 PM, said:

Well, check that.

Question: Have I fulfilled my unlocking of 5 abilities?

I think I have, as my list has 5 abilities. But the communing with the spiritual world says it unlocks another ability. Do I need that ability to fulfill my VC's?

If I do need that ability for VC, I want to Commune with the Spiritual World Night 6. If I already have the 5 necessary abilities to fulfill VC then I want to Fire Bend Galain.

You must unlock 5 BENDING abilities. As Commune with the Spiritual World is not a bending ability, you have not met that VC yet. I will put you down as using Commune with Spiritual World.

Thanks Gnaw I had forgotten about Fener not being able to vote. Yes if your team wins when your dead then you win too.

Now if Osseric talks with the spirts tonight and Galain blocks her she won't actually be a fully realized avatar until day 7. Which means that she won't be able to kill Galain until night 7 correct.

Everybody knows that Spite and Galain are EQ. If they'd start a lynch on someone, they would be a bit surprised I think.

Actually, Spite would need to incapacitate Osseric to stop Commune with Spiritual World. As it's not a bending ability, it will go through even if Galain removes Osseric's bending again unless someone incapacitates her. So Osseric could potentially be ready to start using Avatar State and giving benders back their bending by Night 7.
