Can't say I'm that surprised at that CF considering many would connect him to Ruse. The story suggests he was vigged. Saves us having to lynch him, although the CF is disappointing.

This is interesting. We have both switched our avatars since that whole confusion came up and now both avatars are very different. You, look like you are trying to jump start a day 1 train under the guise of avatars. This being a faction game, that seems dangerous...unless of course you are in a faction that is severely out numbered and are fairly certain you won't be hitting your own faction....
vote Ruse
I don't care how often either you or Liosan change your avatars. As long as you both look exactly the same and I can't tell one from the other I'll constantly get you both confused. Players that want to sow confusion must be scum or in the case of this game Equalist. So keep your anti-bending rhetoric to yourself.
The underlined part in particular. It seems like an unnecessary justification for what essentially felt like a joke vote at the time. However, this reaction has me wondering if there is some kind of connection with Olar Ethil that Ruse is trying to distract from, particularly since OE responded rather oddly to this post as well.

So now the underlined has relevance. This is one argument. The other is the Olar case a bit further up.
Ruse is linked to Olar through that post. Olar then hammers before Ruse tries to defend himself, distancing? Then you also got the whole Osseric and Ruse voting for each other.
I wonder if Kaschan is trying to set up Olar Ethil here. Now that we know he isn't an Equalist, this could be an Equalist attempting to salvage something from Ruse pressure by setting up an Olar lynch next day.

This is a bit silly. If I was an equalist, even assuming I knew all of my team, why would I build a case on one of my own team members in order to implicate someone not in my team, when I could just as easily have built a case on OE for basically the same thing?

Hmm. Judging by the scene, that means that the equalists didn't NK someone last night. Does that mean that the equalists don't NK people, and win just by removing bending ability?

I thought PS said there were no clues in the scene. Didn't he say it was flavor only?
Could we get some confirmation on this?

I said there were no clues in the lynch scene. There are clues in the night scene.
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

Each faction has its own win conditions, however, at the very core it's Benders (Team Avatar & Republic City) vs. Equalists. So you could say that it's both a town vs. scum AND a 3-way faction game.
Faction victory conditions are:
Republic City - Republic City must have at least one member alive and retaining their bending abilities when Amon dies.
Team Avatar - All members of the Equalist organization must die.
Equalists - Korra must die. All benders must have their bending ability removed, or be dead.
Seeing as the Equalists will be highly outnumbered at the outset, and their win conditions are a little tougher than the others', their members are harder to kill than others. There are a few roles that can break away from their factions and become independents. There are a few members of each faction who have additional win conditions beyond their faction's win conditions. There are 2, hard to kill, power roles (Korra and Amon) a few medium powerful roles, and many weaker roles, though everyone starts with at least one ability.

Above is the victory conditions for everyone. It would certainly be interesting if the equalists couldn't kill, but I think that would be rather a large disadvantage for a team that is already smaller than the other factions. Blend has also said that this game has elements of both faction and town v scum games, so I figured the equalists would be the equivalent of scum.
It's also possible that either they didn't submit an action before the time out, or their action was blocked. Hard to tell until we have more info.

Well, from the scene it looks like Olar may have been hit by one of his own. Bad luck. Fener's thought is an interesting one, but the Equalists, at least some of them, must have some sort of killing ability, as part of their VC is that Korra has to be dead, no?
One thing we haven't discussed yet. Faction numbers. Any thoughts? Blend stated that the Eqaulists start off fewer. I would guess Republic city is the largest faction.

Well in that case, if the equalists can NK...was an equalist killer guarded last night? Or healer / BP, but a guard would be immensely revealing right now.

I am resolving Night now. Give me about 10 minutes and I'll have everything done!
2nd post was 46 minutes before timer expired.
That looks to me as if there were possibly 2 people who didn't get orders in before expiration.
That would be a far likelier explanation for no apparent scum NKs than "they don't have any."

I would recommend AGAINST this. If someone did a guard action last night, they would be better off waiting a bit and confirming it - especially in a role heavy game.

True enough. I guess we're safest assuming that the killer didn't have time to put in an NA.
Except that everyone either checked in before the night resolution or was on the lynch train.
So does that mean the NK was withheld? Or scum can't NK every night?

Probably safest making no assumptions at all. We can't extrapolate from one event.

I realize that virtually all of mine were just avatar spam.
At this rate we might just as well use /random for lynch targets.

Whats this... The old Kaschan avatar is back! Squiggly blue lines have returned

You've taught me what it is to remember the glory days of Mafia. When fractals ruled the earth, Hoods path had an actual scythe, and Barghast was a bunch of monkey men. I never thought we'd see the return of the squiggly blue line.
Uh. Why is the K'ell Hunter back?
The fractal sound wave was a bit cool. Much better than my exploded turtle.
