Call me old-fashioned but I must point out that the last 8 posts would have been completely unnecessary had a certain someone READ THE FIRST FUCKING POST where such information is typically found.
Funny.

Oh FFS, I moved south to get away from you!

I know I only came to the first one (and spent most of it lurking near Steve, IIRC) but I have fond memories of it - including my surprise that Mal was actually a really cool guy, and feeling sick after drinking Illy's mead (or was it seeing Illy's shirt?)
Anyway I can't go this year either. If there's ever a Manc meetup again I'll be livimg up that way though...

That wasn't the first one you twat. Third one I believe? I'm terrible with dates/ages etc. Anyway, your courage in showing up was impressive, shocking that you made it out alive, tbh

Hmm, turns out I'm going to have to miss out this year . Big family celebration thing on the same weekend. Have fun without me!

Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

Truth to be told I was dead set on coming to the BBQ this year and to combine it with the Flying Legends Airshow.
A recent change in my personal life makes me needing the days of that I had taken for this and the funds that I had put aside for the Road Trip that I'am going to make in the United States with my new Girlfriend somewhere this Fall .

*sigh* I'm afraid I can't make it, either. Last year taught me how badly I need to sort out my citizenship, which I will be using whatever money I have saved up to apply for this very month.
Well, maybe I can make it to the Christmas meet-up again - if one will be taking place

Well, yes, I'm afraid.. It's pretty much too late now to apply for a visa, even if I could spare the money

Well, I'm still turning up - and I know for most of you that will be the main attraction - so no worries.

Bad news!
Hetan's mother has taken a nasty fall and will be recuperating at our house for 6-8 weeks (nobody is more upset about this than me, I hasten to point out). As a result, we have decided to postpone the BBQ until the weekend of August 17 & 18. Sorry about this folks but maybe some of the people who couldn't make the original date can make this one. Anyway, please advise as to your availability for this new date. Thanks

You have my sympathies, Mal - oh and hope she recovers quickly too
That date looks ok for me - no test match on that weekend to distract so may force us to a discussion on something meaningful. Probably Mez talking about job satisfaction and me on the subject of retirement.
