Watching Survivor drinking a beer, after a night if DnD and more beer. Excellent.

I'm sat at work desperately wishing it was 20:00, or that someone would snipe me through the window.

It's 5:05, I've been up half an hour, eating breakfast, getting ready for the gym and working on the novel. In this chapter, a secondary character gets horribly maimed. :p

I'm stuck on the couch, out of reach of all the remotes, whilst Ice Age 3 plays on a loop.

I've actually just finished writing an introduction to a research proposal for the first time in over a year*. While there have been many tries, all of those ended up in me deleting the files for not being "good enough". So, as a reward, I'm getting ready to hit the gym and organize a little dinner party for two of my friends and my sister.

*) That means the whole proposal is as good as finished, as I usually finish with revising and rewriting the introduction.

'When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, 'it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.'

'The question is,' said Alice, 'whether you can make words mean so many different things.'

'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master — that's all.'
