So unless somebody thinks they have a damn good idea who the Qadi is, I think dragging out the day, even with a lynch, won't give the info that is potential inherent in that many knives that close together. So I believe that Fener just might have a good idea there.

So we have 2 mega alliances and the Qadi. Those Modkills are looming large and could have a huge impact on this game.


Also, with the Hadj yesterday and now the sacrocanct and Justice going on... could be a slow day/night cycle as lynches look off the table and many are guarded.

yes. but going night soon gives less time for people to decide what they're going to do. Very importantly, it closes the bazaar. Closed bazaar means some are bound to be short the goods necessary for their defence and/or offence. Throws the timing off. Unsettles the nerves.

As you have already said, this goes both ways, so in the end it is likely to not make any difference. I see more advantage in another attempt at lynching that rushing into night.
