Hey Ruse, do you still want Cotton?

Not as much as I once did but I could use a couple. The city watch does not approve of my nakedness. Maybe just enough for a loincloth?

How much are you willing to pay? I have some which I wanted to use at some point use, but that time is looking a looong way off, and the lure of dinari is strong.

Edit: Added 'use'

In other words who should we look at to lynch today. Assuming that everyones favorite targets (me, Karosis, Tellan, Spite) are all able to put up sacrosants or are on them already. Or should we just give up on lynching and end the day.

Eager to see blood flow in the streets of Madeena are you?

There's a lot of folks in that quadrant. Which means a lot of potential CFs. So unless somebody thinks they have a damn good idea who the Qadi is, I think dragging out the day, even with a lynch, won't give the info that is potential inherent in that many knives that close together. So I believe that Fener just might have a good idea there.

Tapper's guide said that voting night is a dumb thing to do. I haven't missed many mistake making opportunities this game, so why not another one.

You could have the potential blood flow and a potentially successful lynch. So voting night is taking one potential information source away.

Here and caught up.

So we have 2 mega alliances and the Qadi. Those Modkills are looming large and could have a huge impact on this game.

Also, with the Hadj yesterday and now the sacrocanct and Justice going on... could be a slow day/night cycle as lynches look off the table and many are guarded.

yes. but going night soon gives less time for people to decide what they're going to do. Very importantly, it closes the bazaar. Closed bazaar means some are bound to be short the goods necessary for their defence and/or offence. Throws the timing off. Unsettles the nerves.

I like this reasoning.
If we are not gonna get a lynch.(we are not,I assure you!)
I prefer we get info form another source.

As you have already said, this goes both ways, so in the end it is likely to not make any difference. I see more advantage in another attempt at lynching that rushing into night.

There a number of players who are doing things at their own pace. I think anything that throws off timing is of benefit.

Off to town now. Laters.

I think this happened to Karosis, slightly different from the other silencings, as he seems to have mentioned that he also can't vote:

Quote

The Dreadfather's Soul-Flaying
Phase: any. Cost: 3 Magic.
Target another player. If he has used Theft, Raid or Assassination during this game, you apprehend him if your Combat Strength (including Retainers) is higher than his (including Retainers). Apprehended players can only post in pictures and may not use abilities and cannot vote until they have paid you 2000 dinari for Raiding, 3000 dinari for Theft, and 5000 dinari for Assassination. A player who has been apprehended this game is immune to this ability until the end of the game.

So Karosis can't use any abilities either.

I found that because I went back to see what the Dreadfather stalking the market could be alluding to.

Anomandaris or Silanah would be good lynch candidates in my mind, mostly because of a gut feeling that they are not in my faction and maybe even not in my alliance.
