On the other hand I'm not convinced Fener is Qadi. AFAIK the PM people who couldn't vote him received claimed that they just had to pay 3 worship in general, right? And we're just inferring that it means fener received 3 worship, but it could be someone else who is framing Fener.

im just checking in on my way to work, and id thought id reply to this. In my opinion lynching people outside the alliance is bad for people outside of it because we currently have no way of knowing the numbers so we just get ourselves nearer and nearer to them achieving majority on thread which is definitely not good.

for that reason i wont be voting karosis or fener but am keeping my vote where it is, because im damn sure that atrahal is not with me and is part of the big alliance.

No Spite, all my proposal of culture hunting does is confirm I am not GoB. As I said before, my priority is to not vote for my personal faction or see them lynched, and I know I'm not doing that by voting for karosis. Especially because for all I know one of them might have been modkilled already.

The fact is, I could be in the alliance, or I could be simply trying to use them to help not get a member of my faction lynched above all else. Of course I will neither confirm nor deny that I am in what is almost half of all the factions. That would be stupid, and incidentally pretty much what you yourself have done with these posts, Spite.

I am up to page 46 in reading up. There are a lot of points I agree with. The Hadj is interesting as it does mean that both Fener and Spite will be on certain tiles and people know when, it is a great opportunity for people to attack them. Personally I think Spite tried to get away from Fener and moved to the mirror. Then envokes the Hadj to jump well away from him. Fener decides to follow him (maybe bring him back?). So I think people will know where Spite and Fener will be.

Now I could vote for Spite but I think he will be the subject of a few actions as well as Fener (whom I cannot vote).

That leaves Karosis for me. Picking on the weakened faction is a good way to go in my opinion.

Border Fortress is established at the Nepeth Barracks.
Until the end of the game, when entering this tile, a player is attacked by a 1 CS army consisting of 1 Retainer. If the player wins the battle, no slaves are gained. If the battle is a tie or a loss for the player, the player can't move into the tile.

Establish an independendent market, selling to local settlers on this tile. Until the end of the game, everyone on this tile can, once per day, sell any 2 goods from their storage for a total sum of 500 dinari. The sold goods are removed from the game.

For instance, if the Qadi proposes an alliance, I think that will settle it once and for all about what Fener is.

I have a question for PS: if the person who initiated the Hadj is lynched or killed, is the Hadj stopped? That is, do all those who were swept up in the Hadj remain at that location, or do they carry on regardless?

Nope. The Hadj continues until it reaches its destination. No-one in the Hadj can step out of it, either, until it reaches its destination.
