So.... anybody got any labourers?
A random note: kind of surprised we haven't seen any other alliances proposed yet. Khanate, CoV, Beggars, and Qadi just sitting around masturbating (playing with theirselves har har) I guess.

You make a good point. There's a mega-alliance with Nepeth,HoA, and NP, and then 3 factions that are trying to go it alone. I wonder why...
The reasons I can think of are:
1: They can't make or aren't willing to get the politics needed to propose the alliance.
2: They can't or won't get the goods needed to move across titles
3: They think their present situation is good enough that they don't need any alliance
4: They're waiting for someone to break the mega-alliance and to attempt to ally with them instead.
5: Some combination or variation of some of the above 4.

Possible. Those two alliance offers came out pretty quickly didn't they? Could be as simple as one player close enough, HoA I believe from the wording, and with the resources to quickly propose them.

This if I still need to explain myself. I'm going to try and get caught up before the wife gets back from black friday christmas sales but I doubt I'll make it.
So since there was a lynch when the timer was frozen what is the status of the Bazaar, entering orders for Day through Night phases? Seems kinda shitty of players to push a lynch through when a good number of players were otherwise occupied with Holiday activities.

Tapper won't resolve until Monday so you have time for provisionals.
I wasn't given that option the night before on the speed-lynch, so you can boo-hoo to someone else.

Yeah I agree that all the speed lynchings can really screw people over and I'm very much against them especially when there is so little information on thread about the players that are getting lynched in the first place.

I'm thinking someone other than an assassin completed the quest and it was probably someone that would at least consider praying to the one god that was why they choose the reward they did.

Okay another possible theory:
The first Hadj was done by whomever was doing the quest to get to the mirror? If it was Fener it could explain why he would go there and back rather than just let Spite come to him.

A new quest opens up.
Death as Payment
Steps to fulfill in order:
- Preparation: pay 2 Worship and 2 Weapons
- Travel: travel to the Mirror
- Preparation: pay 2 magic
- Scouting: use 1 Retainer
- Single Combat: win an assassination as the attacker against a CS 2 opponent.

I was thinking this as well that also explains the reward chosen too.

You want to post some original content, Sorrit? Or do you just want to up your post-count by agreeing with quoted posts?

For all intents and purposes, day is still on, so you can still use the bazaar, get your provisionals in, make some hay or whatever etc. You just can't vote.

I had a thought last night. (yes, it hurt and yes, it doesn't happen often.) Fener's defence of the multiple "pay me or you can't do anything to me" PMs is very weak. It's the weekend, so it costs nothing to speculate. If Fener is being framed, given his terribly weak defence, is it not possible that his communication is being constrained in some way? I.E. he can't tell us what is happening? Maybe a game of 20 questions with him might reveal something. I realize that by simply asking this, it gives him opportunity to just hop on and say, "yes, yes, that's it", but given the nature of what appears to be going on in Northern Desert of Mordor, we should probably quit simply assuming he is Sauron.
Or I could be pissing into the wind.

Eh, why not. I'll be on pretty much the rest of the day today, the morning tomorrow, and sunday, so if/when he shows up on the weekend I'll ask some questions. Or, you know, if you're on, emur, you could do it

Thread is so dead. Sad that I have so much free time with a pretty much totally dead thread and a frozen clock

Any one else online?
I just noticed that someone put "Tepan's Charm" on the Bazaar, but in the information text, it was called the "Charm of Attraction. This seems to say that Tepan Sush (Trader from house of luxury) is in the game.

Well Tennes has the rest of the weekend to play on the bazaar, put in provisionals, acquire items, cast spells, summon djinn, steal, raid, attack, assassinate, pray, battle, recruit retainers, unlock abilities, yada, yada, yada so I wouldn't hold my breath on getting an actual CF until we get a CF. sorry, was in a meeting. Lets give it a go!
When was the last time PS was here? I don't remember him saying he was leaving. he generally lets us know when he knocks off for the night.

around for a couple of minutes more.
I was very much considering what to do, and I arrived upon this
(ye hearken my words!): the freeze starts in 2 minutes.
From there on, one can vote, but votes will only be processed when the clock restarts again.
Nor will I resolve the current phase, or give the OKAY on new provisionals.
In other words: even if you get 2 votes in 2 minutes, resolution of the lynch will be on monday.
In the mean time, you can consider your actions, unleash your speculation, use the bazaar, get your actions in, tidy up your PMs, drink a lot of turkey, and think on the best way to finally get a CF out on thread.

Good point.
Is it possible for Tennes to go on survival overdrive and buy up worship over the weekend and sacrosanct his tile before the new votes are processed? Because that would be annoying as hell.

I believe that is a definite possibility. If the bazaar is still open, it's still day phase.
