Since the thread is dead I will write an extra-game post here:
I think Tapper is insane.
I've just realised that as well as modding this monster of a game, he's playing that weird-ass, and extremely intensive-seeming, Eclipse game too!
I swear, I've been in that thread about half a dozen times now, and it's like reading something in a language you have no understanding of.

Well, you're not alone in thinking that. I'm coming to much the same conclusion.
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

Aren't you in that Europe map game too with the tanks and ships? That one looks complicated too.

Diplomacy. Less complicated than Eclipse. Far less complicated than this monstrosity.

So, I was going back over things after the Sacrosanct first went up, and one reaction immediately caught my eye. It is this player's only posts in the last 3 days.
Just a quick aside. You can't defend something without actual accusations.
Lynching him gives us alignment information either way. If we want to have a second lynch today then we need to lynch in the next couple of hours.
Edit: Changed won't to want
Get back here and read what is going on so if we have to get a second lynch in today then we can.

I'm not sure but I think a non-lynch lynch would take us straight to dusk. Maybe PS can clarify?
Yup. No 'let's resume day' or anything, nor CF.
bugger
So, you have someone come from out of the blue to try to press for two immediate and quick lynches on other players. There is little regard to the repercussions of the actual fallout from two quick lynches of unknown factions, and obviously little attention to the thread being paid as well, considering the fact that they didn't know one lynch would end day.
Methinks could be 1 man Qadi faction.

Ok I am back for a second. The silencing of Ruse is kind of funny. At least it has cut down on his spam. I agree that the use of the sacrosanct is a desperate gamble to prevent being lynched. The fact that Tellan had the most votes at the time of its use is either a play to keep himself from being lynched or someone setting him up to be lynched. Either way I think that we have to lynch him. At first read I thought that the case on him was crap, but he barely defended and didn't try to deflect at all. Then he dropped off and the sacrosanct was implemented.
Vote Tellan

That's a good point. It's possible that if we attempt to lynch Tellan, and he's on the sacrosanct ground, then we might still have enough time to try to lynch someone else.

remove vote
I'm just checking back in and there has been a lot going on since I last was on. My inital vote on Tellan was to try and get some information out of him. I never intended for it to be snowball into a full fledge lynch mob. I've got to get to work so I'll try and do a read up when I get there but I have a meeting first thing so I won't be able to dive into the last 3 pages for a few hours. I think Day still has about 5 hours to go right?

When does timer start?
I'm reading and making notes as I go, but only up to page 13 as yet.

At its earliest 10 hours from now (with 27+ still on the clock). I'd like to try and time it in such a way that my social life (read: the girl friend) will have as little inconvenience as possible from resolution time - aka I will try and do that from work/before dinner.
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

Yeah that is pretty funny. But what do you think of his claim of being lynchproof even when he is guarded by PS?

I buy it.
He is who he says he is, I'm pretty sure. Small time, for now, if my guess is correct.

The main question is whether it is repeatable or not. If it's a one-off then no biggie we can reconsider him tomorrow and all the days after.

I assume he'll try to stay where it's Sacrosanct. Whether that continues to happen, on the other hand, is not within his control.

These are posts that caught my eye for one reason or another. Some I comment on, others I don't. I guess you could call it a partial summary if you wish. It's rather long, so I'll spoiler it. And I run into the "too many quote blocks" error, so paginated as well. Appreciate the folks giving me benefit of the doubt last week on post count.

6 Worship every cycle doesn't seem sustainable but then again maybe it is if you're the pharoah or something. But presumably others will be clamoring to that tile as well. Hopefully not everyone there will be allied and they will bring him down for us then?
