Here.
I believe we should choose who to lynch ASAP.
because if we don't, we would have no choice to lynch a maybe lynchproof Karo.

I think the guard HAS to be tested. He could be at the same location as Tellan but that means he can be targetted at night and he is guarded.

I assume he'll try to stay where it's Sacrosanct. Whether that continues to happen, on the other hand, is not within his control.
You're making a very big assumption that Karosis is on the same tile as you. Personally, I reckon his lynchproof is the result of an ability - otherwise why would he out himself if he thought you could target him?
And neither can it be presumed that Sacrosanct is beyond his control. With the amount of cheap Worship which has flooded the market, even a GoB player (traditionally one of the poorer factions, at least to start) might be able to take advantage.

To answer your question, EM, he means Karosis' lynchproof should be tested
But you raise an interesting point - why did Ampelas say 'guard' instead? Guarding on his mind?

Ah, to answer my own question, it's probably because Karosis is being guarded by Path-Shaper. Ampelas, I think, means to test whether the guard stops Karosis from implementing his lynchproof.

this was from the first ToD
This title and explaination still doesn't explain why all of us have to pay a tax unless of course Tapper has rewritten how this title actually works.

Strong hint: I might have.

Well anyways time to spice things up to get us out of the weekend funk. My basic summary upon re-read of the last few pages is this is the main happenings today with regards to the Karosis reveal and votes:
The Tulas vote especially looks pretty blatantly like he is opposed to the GoBs and just hopped on Karosis without thought/subtlety.
And one last thought on Karosis' LP claim:
Just a possibility to keep in mind.
- Karosis wants to speed lynch Emu, votes Emu
- Amp votes Karosis
- Telas removes
- Karosis reveals GoB and says "A lynch will not be successful against me."
- Tulas votes Karosis
- Telas votes Karosis

Groups within the Qadi:
Qadi: You have a lynch proof. If you die, you are revived after 3 full day+night phases since the moment you died, without the lynch proof, even if it was not yet consumed. Qadi's are Mages, Summoners and can use Scroll Items.

You seem to be overly focused on getting the Qadi lynched of any the factions. I wonder why? Though this title quote you posted is a very good possibility of why Karosis could be lynch proof. But that also throws out his reveal and Amps accussation out the window entirely.
Does anyone else get the feeling that Amp has been trying to protect deflect from Tennes?

Interestingly, I have a different interpretation from you of Ruse's post. I interpreted it to mean that he doesn't want Karosis lynched because he could be the Qadi.
And regarding Ampelas, I think he found out Karosis is not in his faction, and that's why he's after him.

Well That explains it then. Amp. Do you remember who ended up with this title in the first game? If not do you know all the characters that survived the first game? I'm too lazy to look it up myself.

Well I took what I knew of Ruse from earlier posts and applied it to this one. He voted for me day one because he thought i was Qadi, Hence his continued vendetta against the Qadi.

I do, actually. I looked it up and it's Temulin Half Blood (High Trader of HoA). So we know someone who is in the game.

Interesting.
First game was only in Ishktar hence Tax Collector of the South. Bet ya that has evolved into Tax Collector of the North or something like that hence the change in the exact mechanics of it. Either way it is damned annoying and I'd be willing to lynch someone who seemed vaguely to be protecting Tellan on the off chance that they were doing so because they are HoA and might be the stupid tax collector

I wasn't really going for any big push on that just throwing it out there 'cause I happened to see it in the latest cruise through the encyclopedia.

I liked it better when only the richest players got targeted.

You don't think the guy getting 500 dinari from every other player (15x500 = 7500!!!) EVERY DAY isn't rich?!

Oh, I do think that he is rich, but I'd rather not have the money flowing out of my pocket.
